I am thinking of doing the same thing. But for some reason there are 2 that look the same; Shut off valve and vapor canister purge solenoind. Which one of them is the one that you are replacing?

2016 Mercedes Metris; is the def shutoff valve the same part or is it called vapor canister?

Sorry no I do not but if you're looking for the purge valve it's usually under the hood and everything else is in the rear by the gas tank
