if i would be owner of MaM back then, she would be fired right after this review. She's hating that car from beginning to end. and her parking skills are awful
In the video she said petrol is way to go after slaging of the good 2.9 5 cylinder mercedes engine and some cars do have radios low down shes a hater out of the box
Reviewer: "Bit cramped for a tall driver like myself" Also the reviewer: "I can't see the front corners when parking, if other lady drivers are feeling the same way Daewoo will be losing potential customers" Bloody decide if ya wanna be tall or short
Doesn't realize it's a 4X4, whinges about plastic wood when the last REAL WOOD I saw in an affordable car was 1994, then compares it to a patrol, BUT THEN SHOWS she has no real experience driving a 4X4 and can't park it, AND ZERO off road capabilities shown.... if you aren't used to driving a 4X4 WHY REVIEW ONE. "They're missing out on the ladies market"... WHAT MARKET. You obviously only drove daddy's patrol like 2 or 3 times....
2024 and just aquired our 2nd moose. Its a car you can work on. They do not rot. Towed a transit flatbed 150 miles, load up any ball hitch trailer and it will pull it. Not a mud plugger but reg'd ours eventually as an agri for 0 tax and mot exempt.purchase price for both average £700. The cause of death will not be the engine
They didnt had time because they bought Ssangyong, later GM bought Daewoo and Ssangyong got free. So this production last 1 or 2 years with the parts they had. So Daewoo Musso is an oddity.
We had one of these on a tillage farm in Ireland. Total piece of shit. Gearbox, 4wd, electrics, paint, injectors, driveshaft and more gave bother. Replaced with a new Hilux in 2008 and still going strong.
Iv recently bought the best in the UK to use and abuse. because it was super cheap like new and one owner for 800quid fully loaded with leather and air con with a brand new clutch .low milage 40 thousand and it feels totally gutless (not feeling the 120 brake horse power yet ?).iv changed the oil 5/40 and both filters oil and fuel /Air filter /and put a double dose of turbo cleaner in the tank and aerosol turbo cleaner and had new brakes fitted and new hand brake units .and guess what it still doesent stop much more effectively the handbrake still doesent actually work .despite all new parts...fitted by a garage i wont use again as it took them 8 weeks .!This truck is a colossal waste of time so far and is no better for having spent 800 on it .I bought it for towing .it wouldent tow your hat off.(I'm going to see if I can have it chipped )or someone to have fiddle with the pump or fit bigger turbo then some bigger brakes. .I'm prepared to change my mind if it gets better with some more use and mods .positives are .its good off road and I do like it as it's big and spacious and happy at 60mph but if you are in a rush it will frustrate you.But the looks have grown on me and will look better once I have put a musso sports bonnet and grill on and a lift kit/pluse a snorkel .It will always be more reliable than a p38 range rover of the same vintage .another downside is garages don't want to work on it despite being relatively simple they can't be arsed they look at you as of you have got two heads and say come back next year and walk away or just put the phone down on you .They all say the same thing (impossible to get parts ).I'm looking forward to running this one in to the ground and proving the doubters wrong.
@@JohnDoe-ox5ni This is a very reliable car that will last. I`ve read that the musso handbrake is a laughing matter to be used as a parking brake, nothing more. I know what they mean by that so never use it for braking hard. You sort of rock with what you got and see how far it will take you. Upgrading should be kept to a bare minimum only when required to pass the MOT. I had to get new brake calipers last year from UK (i`m in Norway) and send back the old ones to be refurbished. You`re lucky if you live in the UK where Musso parts can easily be scavenged for a fractional cost. Not the case here. I`ve had my 2001 Musso diesel for two years now and it pulls it weight and then some but it is not a beast by any means. Take it for what it is ;-)
It was designed and styled by a British bloke so it must be good .got a merc engine a Borg Warner transmission and bosh electricals /italian carero back Axel with a limited slip diff .so on paper should be good right??hmmm the jury's still out on that one.If this car was a shop it would be NEXT.
I seem to be the only person in the world that thinks the Daewoo Musso is not a bad looking car.
It’s certainly odd, however I wouldn’t say it’s bad looking either.
@@sherpafan033 I used to see them a lot when I was younger and thought they looked cool. I wanted one lol

She is telling it like it is.
I don't think she found the seat was height adjustable? Makes big difference to her parking ability?
Did she just say that ladies don't know how to park a car?
why was she reviewing cars she had no idea what she is talking about
Imagine this with a modern engine and transmission
I just thought the same, I learned driving with this care and I still love it. Even it is more the mechanics car, then mine
The girl?

I had a few of these, and they were great.

Somehow Daewoo went under and GM got it, and Sangyong continued on for a few more years.
SsangYong still produce cars and belong to the Mahindra group

Strange looking thing, isnt she. It´s the Beverley French. And if she looks familiar, well, that´s hardly surprising, because...
Wow no off road review whats the point of even doing a review in the first place

Pretty sure this was a biased review.

Lol they thort the Freelander would be better
What why can't they be bothered to change the logo?

All it was, was a rebadged Ssangyong Musso with a Daewoo badge stuck on. Not much in it, between the two.
She must have had some thing from competitors or daewoo didnt offered her anything
Car shows get paid to talk shit about cars. This Musso would've turned heads even when new. Can't say that about any car today
Good engine though ;-)
And that wasn’t their own if I’ve remembered alright?

Strangely enough, they sold Sangyongs in mercedes dealerships here in Australia. Work that one out 😂😂😂
Maybe because they had Mercedes engines with Mercedes logo on them
True, and the engine part numbers were MB numbers.
