the most underrated song in history
Played this song at my son's funeral. First concert he saw was these guys in Atlanta Ga at The Roxy. He almost lived to age 21. Died from so called friends who left him to die in his driveway from an overdose of "something". Athlete, Prom King, Scholar.....dead. This song reminds me of the way he lived life. I wish he could "Please stay..."
I'm so very sorry to hear this. I saw this comment yesterday and you've been on my heart ever since, It breaks my heart to hear this man. My mother died a few months back from cancer, and it's rough. Both of my parents are dead now and I'm only 24. I used to live in Atlanta until I joined the Marines, but everyone's struggling and you can sense the pain it's everywhere. Uhhhh, too many people perishing these day's. I know the pain all to well, the thought that you can scower the Earth and never find that person. They're gone..... but take heart my friend because Jesus Christ is our strength! He is our good shepherd and he will not allow us to fail. He will heal our hearts if only we lean upon him, and allow him to set his seal upon our hearts. Take heart!

I first heard this album when moving to a summer camp located on a lake in northern MN to be their maintenance man. I play Heaven over and over. It felt like heaven working there. I really miss it. This song brings back many happy memories.

I had a tough childhood, and on tougher days I put my headphones on, play this song on repeat, close my eyes and sing my ass off.. And sometimes I cried listening to this and still singing.. Everything from the incredible build up of the intro of this song, all the way through Tom’s beautiful and emotional singing at the last few verses… this is hands down one of my favorite songs of all time. Every note of this song hits me in such a unique way
