On a sunny day in July, I embarked on a delightful day trip to Playa de Fenals in Lloret de Mar, Spain. Located on the beautiful Costa Brava, this beach promised a perfect blend of relaxation, natural beauty, and a vibrant atmosphere. Here's a short trip report to capture the essence of my visit.
Morning:
I arrived at Playa de Fenals in the morning. The beach was already buzzing with activity but not overly crowded, making it easy to find a prime spot near the shoreline. After setting up my beach towel and umbrella, I couldn't resist the crystal-clear Mediterranean waters, taking a refreshing swim under the warm sun.
Midday:
For lunch, I opted for a beachside chiringuito (beach bar), enjoying delicious Spanish tapas and a refreshing glass of sangria. The view of the sea and the sound of the waves enhanced the dining experience. Post-lunch, I took a short siesta in the shade of my umbrella to recharge.
Afternoon:
In the afternoon, I tried some water sports like jet skiing, paddleboarding, and parasailing. Paddleboarding provided a unique perspective of the coastline and the cliffs. Afterward, I took a scenic coastal walk that connected Playa de Fenals to other nearby beaches, relishing the breathtaking views of the rugged cliffs and lush greenery.
Evening:
As the sun began to set, I returned to my beach spot to witness the spectacular sunset over the horizon, with the sky painted in hues of orange and pink. To conclude my day trip, I headed into the town of Lloret de Mar for dinner, enjoying a delicious seafood paella at a local restaurant.
Conclusion:
My day trip to Playa de Fenals in Lloret de Mar was a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The beach's natural beauty, recreational activities, and vibrant atmosphere left me with lasting memories and a longing to return. It was indeed a day in paradise on the Costa Brava.

Hi I have been to Fenals a couple times, its really nice. Question.... is it possible to walk all the way around the headland to LLoret?
I always hop on the bus outside the Htop Royal Beach hotel. I need to go back soon👌
