Jean-Mi who was also a spin oriented attack player was under heavy pressure right from the start, from the very first point to the very last. It must have been a hard experience to see the big gap to Timo. I remember Jean-Mi when he was on his maximum level mid of the 90s. What a player, what a fighter! He'll remain one of my heros forever!

In the 90s Saive was a whirlwind.
As usual Saive fought well, but he also played pretty well against peak period Boll. Great match.
