- How it Works - Episode 29
Stretched limousines: The worlds fastest stretched limousine was made out of a Ferrari 360 Modena. It can travel at speeds of almost 274 kph.
Hiking boots: Researchers at Hull University have invented a pair of hiking boots that can charge your mobile phone while you walk.
Wall plugs: A 10 millimetre nylon wall plug can safely suspend a load of up to 247 kilograms. That's nearly a quarter of a ton.
Towel dispensers: It's estimated there are nearly 18,500 kilometres of towel used to dry hands in toilets and washrooms across the UK. - Розваги
The limo driver looks exactly how you'd expect someone driving a stretch SUV to look and that makes me happy
From New York lol
10:55 so happy for these boots training to become astronauts. Its a wet step for man, but a huge leak for bootkind.
@2:50 welds without a shade, @2:56 grinds without facemask. Employee of the month.
@2:50 he's spot welding and closing his eyes, he doesn't need a welding mask for that. @2:56 he's got safety glasses, he doesn't need a full face shield just for grinding unless he's laying down with sparks falling on him, even then you don't really need one. He's a vehicle conversions worker doing what every other automotive worker does, panelbeaters do the exact same thing.
"If you have to grind your welds, then you're a grinder, not a welder" lol! Can't remember who told me that, but its funny nonetheless.
@@applejacks971 it holds some truth but a lot of the time you need to grind your welds anyway if you need it flush or to grind down a weld bead for painting.
I thought the exact same thing!!
@@Insomniac3d um... yeah he does need a welding mask / helmet. Your eyelids can't stop UV rays
It's not hand rubbed wax at 3:25, it is wet sanding. To remove imperfections in the paint.
OMG it's the white MR. T!!! I PITTY THE FOOL WHO DON'T DRIVE MY LIMO!
WHATS UP WITH THAT GUY WILL ALL THE JEWELRY LOL!!!!!
@2:15
That would be Phil R. The owner and designer. Very Successful.
Bet he gets all the classy women o.O

Thanks For The Great Video... Thanks.

Mr T there with the measuring tape, must be some money in it lol
DAMN! didn't know Wall plugs had so much production scale...
Those boots are the best made I have ever seen. Nothing else even comes lose. I bet they cost a fortune.
Do you know what brand they are?
Mathias Forge saw the name Meindl. It look like that on the front of the boot at about min23:05
My bad min 9:56
2:10 white Mr. T!!! 😂
6:04 when the car leaves the shop, it looks like a glitch, like one of those MS Windows glitches that lets you draw with a glitched window like in the winning sequence of MS Solitaire.

Gently sweating with anger and asking his production company how this happens
Wow nice boots. It is amazing that in the riots the only thing left on the shelves were boots. Work boots.
brianbirc what riots?
@@coandc LA riots April 26th 1992 (Rodney King riots) and others.
@@brianbirc Oh got it, you're being racist. Thanks for clarifying.
@@coandc Racist ?? How is that racist ?? I am just stating some reports I saw in the news. I was amazed the boots were the only thing left. I mean they rescued all the other shoes. I saw video on the news of them doing it just like this one from CNN itself. SEE ua-cam.com/video/-6-xokjS4PE/v-deo.html and you call me a racist? I am wearing a black olives matter t shirt even. @@coandc Brian is right, there were news reports and video showing stores picked clean except for the boots. BTW, It wasn't just blacks that were rioting and looting, your assumption makes you racist.
I haven't seen a towel dispenser in many, many years. Air driers just blow the piss and water down on your shoes.
Where's episode 28? Also, in Australia, I've never seen a public toilet with either a towel or roll of towels rarely in non council public toilets (office blocks etcetera) I've seen paper towels that you tear off and throw in the bin.
+Joshua Lansell-Kenny I've never seen a public bathroom with an actual towel in the US either. It's just kinda ludicrous to use something that harbors so much bacteria. Most restrooms here also use paper towels.
Joshua Lansell-Kenny That's the reason I came to the comments section, the U.K. claims to be a modern country, have they not figured out the use of paper towels?
Joshua Lansell-Kenny My Grandma just told me she remembers having the towel rolls in America back in the 60s or 70s. Is the U.K. really that far behind, although their most famous tv show has an alien flying around in a big blue phone booth. I'm sorry, that hurt me too I love Doctor Who, but it's part of my point, every picture or video I see of London still has red phone booths on every corner, so i guess modern means in British English means 40 years behind the rest of the world.
Good
Um What brand are those boots? Got it Thnx
meindl air active hiking boots
thanks...
2:17 makes this realy credible
Anyone else watching this ‘Public Towel’ segment in 2021 (still during COVID) like 😷
Wow the towel runs out? I always thought(stupidly I now know) that the towel was just one piece that was in an infinite loop. Hence I was completely DISGUSTED by it, and refused to use it ever, not even once! Now I know better, and that I can start using it!
The guy with the jewelry on that's
"fn Lou" ..
I haven't seen a towel dispenser for many years, hand driers seem to have finished them off.
Stretch limos are bomb lol
So...who’s the clown with all the (fool’s) gold?
the clown of blings
How nice to see they upgraded the brakes and suspension, sadly 21 people died, including three sisters due to the conversion company not doing that...
i have a good pair of hiking boots, they have vibbram souls steel toes and all suede with red laces they're about 45 years old and been resoled twice
Great to hear. Proud of you Richard.

"It's the age-old dilemma you face when you wash your hands in a public toilet." Who washes in a toilet? I prefer to use a sink.
Stan Patterson Yes me to the sink. Before I do my task.
toilet means restroom not watercloset

Mrs Richards: "It's not good enough!"
Basil: "May I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past?..."
Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea!"
Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky."
Mrs Richards: "I'm not satisfied. But I shall stay. But I expect a reduction."
Basil: "Why?! Because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment?
After he got everything lined up he went blind for a few days...
I'm not an expert with engineering cars but here's what I think could be done to transform a standard everyday family sedan or SUV into a limousine!!! so please bear with me & correct me if I'm wrong!!! say you want to make a 2020 Cadillac CT6-V Limited i-TRAC AWD 6.2 t-Turbo V8 4-Dr Luxury Sedan (LHD) into a 6.5 metre stretched limousine!!! you need to procure 2 pre owned or lightly damaged Cadillac CT6-V Limited i-TRAC AWD 6.2 t-Turbo V8 4-Dr Luxury Sedan (LHD) from a scrap yard, one that hasn't been scrapped as yet!!! cut out the mid floor section including the full B-Pillar from the 2 donor Cadillac CT6-V Limited i-TRAC AWD 6.2 t-Turbo V8 4-Dr Luxury Sedan (LHD) & weld each other to the length you intend to stretch!!! and then weld the new floor section back onto the front & rear section of the car that you've already cut out for the stretch!!! agreed it's a time consuming complex job but it's worth the effort & money!!! please advise!!!
Pimp My Ride comes to mind
Welding without hoods. I wouldn’t drive in one of those things if it were to save my life
I haven’t seen a towel dispenser like that since I was a kid here in the US. It was at a drive in movie theatre with a bathroom built in the 50’s that had never been remodeled. Really really strange.
The Hiking boots would be nice if you could buy them with a safety conposet toe. (steel toe). Any one know what brand/Buy/ they are?
i wear Keene's which are very similar and i love their safety toe shoes and boots
thank God for Canada we have bigger roads
If you know how to drive you dont need big roads.
1:54 Missed it be thaaaat much :)
just stretch the middle section of the existing original monocoque chassis of the car with the same sheet metal from another similar car from the scrap yard!!! ofcourse the entire stretched monocoque chassis will need reinforcing!!! better workmanship, quality & long term durability!!! way better than cutting a vehicle in the middle & adding two longitudinal support beams & hundreds of weld points!!!
Did white Mr.T stop the gas pump at 5 gallons? 🤦♂️
Lol 3.17 for gas ⛽️ Jesus I miss those days I remember when gas was under 80 cents a gallon
What make of boots are they ?
What is the brand for those shoes
Who makes those boots
I never heard wall anchors called Wall plugs, before
I like program how it's made
They say literally - Water molecules are 20000 times bigger than the air holes [..] however steam molecules are 700 times smaller.
Both water and steam has H2O as a molecule ... Science Pop is soooo lame!
thanks for catching it... my jaws dropped when i heard that... if a steam molecule was 700 times smaller but at the same time having the same composition, it would be 700 times more dense too, no? so steam would sink! lol
he meant droplets.
Well I know that shoes and other footwear don't last as long as they use to. It doesn't matter how much money you spend.
There wouldn't want to be a fire onboard with only 2 exit's for all those people, and I didn't see a extinguisher ?
I need this shoes 👞
now that's a car
steam molecules versus water molecules... oh my
This very old, cars fly nowadays.

Pulls up to the pump in flashy limo
Puts 8.00 dollars in it.🤔
NOT EVEN ONE ALIGNMENT. JUST EYEBALL.
no 28?
8:00 water molecules are larger than steam molecules? Stupidity abounds.
Liquid water molecules are indeed larger than gasious state water (steam). That’s true for most any liquid. Goretex is based precisely on that principle.
Another benefit of this change of state is that a gas can be compressed while a liquid can’t. This is the difference between pneumatic versus hydraulic power.
@@blaws6684 water molecules are water molecules, whether in liquid or gas phase, so they can't be a different size. And this video claims the gas molecules are 700X smaller, which is nuts. Curiously, the wikipedia page on goretex says that "Each pore (in goretex) is approximately 1/20,000 the size of a water droplet", while the video claims the "water molecules are 20,000 times larger than the airholes (in goretex)", so clearly the narrator just misread the script (or the writer goofed when copying some info about goretex).
If the volume of a known quantity water does not change when changing state gas/liquid/solid perhaps you’d like to explain how frozen pipes burst? Explain diffusion through a membrane? And finally how does Gore-Tex work.
I stand corrected and thank you. It’s been a long time since I did chem and I had forgotten some basic principles. In the case of change of state you correctly said molecules don’t change size when changing from one form to another. Actually They change volume. And most relevant to Gore-Tex, the smallest condition for liguid water is a droplet of numerous active molecules thanks to the surface tension inherent to that state. Hence the rejection of liquid water droplets through their Teflon membrane and the diffusion properties of water vapor as single molecules through the same filter
Thanks again.
And wall plugs? Never heard of them called a wall plug.. I have heard of them called a wall mount. Or a hanger but never a plug.. when I hear wall plug I think of an electrical outlet like a wall outlet or wall plug.... And you can tell they are made in Germany.. they are made to perfect for any other country in Europe..
they are called that in the uk also rawlplugs!
Somethings are just plain stupid.
Ohh shit its Mr T's white cousin
Didn't know Mr. T was in the limousine making business. How much bling do u need to look like a fool? Ask Mr. Tape measure guy.
