I still remember when I first saw the ending of Ergo Proxy. I remember getting up from my chair saying: Radiohead in an anime !! And I laughed like crazy... It was my favourite song from one of the best british bands, in one of the best animes. Wow. Just wow.
If you like this song I would recommend more by Radiohead. I would recommend songs like optimistic, karma police, there, there , knives out, and literally everything else by Radiohead their music rlly is worth checking out they’re such a great band :)

Can you imagine anyone actually being able to make a movie that would to the series justice? Think about how much information, how many theories and viewpoints we are given during those 23 episodes. How long do you suppose the movie would be? It would have to be several hours.
im okay with the lame final ending, guess they spend properly all the money for a radiohead outro song... on the original version cause netflix one sucks

They didn't ask Radiohead to make this, rather after Manglobe showed Radiohead Ergo Proxy, Radiohead was impressed enough to allow them to use it. Meaning Manglobe decided to use it after getting permission to do so. Although I still enjoy Monoral's song better.
radiohead fits ergo proxy perfectly,it takes you there,you feel the sad empty atmosphere of that desolate world,so goood..... what a masterpiece

I like radiohead but this is why ya never let a NA band do a anime opening. This is sad IMHO compared to Monoral's opening as good as radiohead is.
