I think you must be pretty fit now James, after climbing all those hills, but I love the way that you don't pretend to be some sort of superman athlete - you give us a realistic description of the conditions and what to expect.

Excellent two of my favourite Scottish mountains I shall be venturing back soon as my brother has left his last Munro top as the one on the end of that lovely narrow ridge off the eastern side of Lurg mhor so I am looking forward to returning to that fantastic area which you captured so well I used beinn dornig lodge for the night when I did lurg mhor as I walked in and out of the area on foot.i wild camped when I did cheesecake climbing it’s steep western face an easy but exhilarating scramble brilliant video superb It brought back nice memories thanks

Good work on doing these two. Bikes are a must. Our trip went well until a friend managed to buckle the front wheel on the way in. To continue we had to undo the brake, stand on the wheel rim to make it rotate, only option was put grass in the tyre to pack it out. This repair worked, hills done and the one with only one brake was the first back to the car!

Hi James Great video and brings back memories of a trip in 2010 when myself and a pal cycled in from Attadale a tough route. We left bikes at Bendronaig Lodge and continued on foot over both Munros. Whole trip took about 10 hours. I posted a video on U tube of our attempt but not nearly as professional as yours mind you equipment was not as sophisticated back then. I need to go back to bag the Corbett of Ben Dronaig not looking forward to the cycle in as I am 14 years older than last time😂😂 How many have you still to do? My first round took 20 years!! Keep up the videos young man.

Absolutely stunning video James. These are on my radar. But for probably for next year as I want to get more wild camp experience cause I would love to camp up their and do the munros. But well done.

Fantastic brought back memories from 2012 took bike in too but came over the Corbett with small lochan near top first then slight scramble up your munro no2 then i carried on to lurg mhor and along the ridge (some bum shuffling as big drops on left when sticking near ridge crest and on right upon return along ridge crest no snow though) to meall mor to get to big rounded grass munro top with cairn. Managed to reverse the route without reasending lurg mhor (contoured as high as possible between the two Munro's) I remember it was still a biggish drop in height before heading back up over the Corbett again then back to bike for the cycle out. Fantastic to see the ridge to meall mhor again but with snow cover and good photography. SPLENDID DAY OUT. Thanks for sharing.😊😊😊😊😊😊

What a fantastic day. When you travel for so long and so far then those views make it all the more worth while. Without the bike I should imagine it would be a huge day or probably involving a camp somewhere and completing it over two days. Brilliant video, superb views. A great watch.

Some absolutely breathtaking shots there James. I bagged my first of the year on Sunday with the Glen Turret route up Ben Chonzie and thought I had it decent with views and weather, this is on a completely different level.

Absolutely stunning. Both times I have done these 2 I went in and out from Lair. The first time I returned in a straight line from Lurg Mhor - wow that was a massive down and up. The north face of Sheasgach has a grass rake all the way through the cliffs, marked at the topby a standing stone. It's a bit special. But what a super video James. I am glad you rated them that highly. I supect many a theoretical Munroist decides to abandon their attempt with these 2, but there is always the opportunity to overnight at Bearnais bothy.

Fantastic photography. I love these hills set in the middle of nowhere a you said. I 'cheated' and camped part of the way, from the north, in order to make these two manageable days. Still not sure why this was not a 10! Great video thanks.
Pretty much was a 10 but I was a bit cruel and knocked 0.5 off for the uphill sections on the bike 🤣

I've been planning doing the 5 in a day from Achnashellach Forest, Craig. Maybe worth splitting it up into a 2 day adventure/camp.

I'm not sure if James does these on weekdays, but if so then there's a good chance of at least one dry and clear day per week!
Your right - I get mostly weekdays off so just pick the best day, usually one half decent day a week 😁

Where do these class in terms of remoteness? Top 20? top 5? I have lost count with how many munros are deemed "Remote".
In Fisherfield - A'Mhaighdean most remote (+ Ruadh Stac Mor next door, col between them regarded as most remote spot in UK). Lurg Mor & Seanna Bhraigh the next 2 most remote. Plenty of others pretty remote too, including the Eastern Cairngorm Plateau.
Definitely top 5 remote Munros, As someone else has commented this is up there with the remotest spots in Scotland.
Must admit, Ive stopped watching these videos on anything other than a good screen. The production quality deserves a good screen. Just a thought.....why not invest in an e-bike, to help with the tough cycle in/out? Also, for your final munro, are you palnning on making it public knowldge so people can join to celebrate your achievement? Cheers
I was cursing that I didn’t have an ebike whilst pushing the bike uphill 🤣 I will get one in the future.. I might be making an announcement on it but not 100%, I have done over 200 solo so might finish that way.. but would also be nice to share the moment with others.. I will have to decide soon 🤣 Cheers, James
