This genuinely brought a tear to my eye because it made me remember that I’m watching my closest family member die due to cancer and I just miss doing simple things with her like going to the movies for our birthdays.
I’m so sorry for what you’re going through. I had to watch my grandmother get sick with dementia and slowly waste away. Watching someone die in front of you is a fate nobody wishes to have, and regardless wherever you guys are currently, I’m praying for you.
Jee, I never had a close one die but I hope they recover! I feel like it would feel like you fell into a pit of fire when a close one dies. I am very sorry for your struggle and your loved one's.
I came back here because this was made in the same month (by just a few day difference) that my oma (grandma) was killed by a careless nurse that gave her an overdose of a painkiller, and this song was comforting to me during that time. (My oma had cancer for 4 years and was still going strong, and I feel it would've been less sad for me if she died of that then dying to a nurse, because it is more "expectable")
Edit: I didn't even get to see her die because she was in Canada and we had just moved to America, and then covid hit, and it was just really, really hard
