It isn't just the dancing and awesome violin playing, she has a magnetic personality and a hugely positive attitude that is infectious. People love to be around that. To me, her whole attitude toward what she does, toward life and to others is what makes her performances so powerful.

Lindsey is undoubtedly the most gifted performer I've ever seen. Not only does she love what she does, she also arranges her own videos and either produces/co-produces her videos. The statistics speak for themselves. 10,000,000+ subscribers to the Lindsey Stirling channel as well as over 2,000,000,000 views for her videos. That is absolutely amazing.

It is hard enough playing this instrument while stationary. Fingering has to be precise or you are off pitch. Well, Lindsey dances while playing. That is truly remarkable, what a talent she is.
Yes indeed, Lindsey has said before it took her relearning "muscle memory" one memory for her hands/arms and one for her legs/feet.... Plus she had to modify her fingering and holding the bow....
Yes, it is. But at the cost of all the movement, she loses the intonation.
Personally I find the flaws make ti more organic / natural. A computer can play things perfectly but then it sounds so boring and mechanical. I went to one of her concerts and yes, she makes mistakes, but then again, I know I am hearing her play, not some pre-recorded lip-sync (or violin-sync). At the concerts you know you are experiencing HER in all her skill and imperfections which is more real and relatable.
I think that her e string was out if tune. Most of the notes that were played on the e were flat sounding to me.
She isn't able to play too many techniques while moving around like that. She will stay an intermediate violinist at best.

David Rogers Not even close. Her intonation is lacking. Her shifting abilities are lacking and her overall technique is mediocre. Anyone who has finished music school can play 3 times better. I applaud her dance skills and scores but she is far from the best thing to happen in 50 years, imo.

It's not just about music, it's about entertainment. Her videos are even more spectacular.
I believe this was before her keyboard player suddenly passed away from cancer. This tragic death took lindsey out for a while. But now she is back stronger than ever. Saw her concert at Portland Oregon 1 Oct 2016.
I think she has a internal energy which comes out through her music. A passions which just shines and therefore makes any and everyone gravitate towards her no matter if you like the supposed classical style or music she plays.

She is wrong when she says no one is doing it. Mairead, from the group Celtic Woman has been doing it for a number of years now. And I think she is as good a dancer, and certainly a better fiddler than Lindsey . Just my opinion

She is talented because she LOVES what she's doing. When you love what you do or what you wanna do, you put a lot of effort and energy into it and you become more creative too. That's what talent is about. Talent is about passion. Passion makes you work harder that you could have imagined. It pushed you to your absolute limits.
