You are looking great! Can tell the pain is much more managable! I always thought getting in and out of my suburban was way easier than a regular sized car. Great to see you all smiley!

The info about how you ate while you lost was really helpful. Thank you for sharing. I can see I need to make some adjustments.

Loved the update and glad you're getting to the point in healing where you're more mobile and self-sufficient! I've been really enjoying these plastics updates, and at some point in the future I might need to make my way down to Oregon to pick your brain more about the experience!

Thanks, it feels so good to be mobile! I have to admit, though, I’m in “swell hell” from being up so much yesterday. My body definitely had a way of reminding me to take it easy still.
You’re welcome down here any time, I’d love to have you!

Have loved following your progress on Instagram - glad things are going well for the most part. I don't know if I will ever be able to afford the skin removal surgery, but it is helpful to know what I would be up against if I am ever able to do so. I have not been nearly so strict, but that is more me trying to come up with long-term habits that work for me. Tracking was and is my key, but, like we always say, everyone is different 😊 Glad to see you out and about, my friend 😃

Tammi's back in the car...progress is being made. You are looking well and after you get your roots done you will feel 100 times better. Nothing better than when a women gets her hair done. I find higher cars better all the way around for me to get in and out of, saves a lot of presser on my back. Keep resting and taking things slow and easy. : )

Thanks for sharing your journey! I really enjoy all your details. Would love to follow you on Instagram.
I rarely go there so not sure my name there. I think it is jjjfid??
    You look Beautiful!!
💕😊💕 You have done amazing work 💪
Your honesty is so important. I too went into my DS a year ago not expecting my 7 months of severe nausea and food aversion. I have lost 200 pounds and would love to have my excess skin removed but my insurance won’t cover it and I am pretty gun shy to even think about any more surgeries. I had a full hysterectomy 8-1/2 months before my DS. Then my DS Feb 12, 2018
I am trying to recover fully from my long span of malnutrition and then I have to have a knee replacement surgery. 😳😳🥺🥺😳😳😩😩
So..... the skin removal is only a pipe dream. I have followed Joni (smilingshrinking) with great interest. She has done so well. I am much older than you both at age 57 and that plays into everything. I agree- we are all different. I started at my highest 443. I am at 225. I still have about 65 or 70 pounds to go and I started eating lots of carbs right after Christmas. Up until then I ate barely anything. So I have been at a stall. I have lots of skin on my lower body- butt, legs, thighs. It is hard to look at all the skin. It is hard to sit with a deflated butt. I carried most of my weight there. Not now. I had to buy a special pillow. 😳
Never understood what it felt like to sit and have no padding. Not fun but still better than weighing over 400 pounds.
It is quite the journey for sure. I appreciate You and Kristin and Joni and Cookie Lee for sharing!
Sending You Much Love and wishes for complete healing❤️😊❤️💋💋

Jalyne Fidler - Jalyne Fidler Hi! Thank you so much for the sweet note. I think I accidentally hit Decline on your Instagram follow request, but I’ve requested to follow you, and then you can re-request me, please.
I totally understand about the aversion to surgery. I’ve only had three in my life - gallbladder in 2012, DS in 2017, and the plastics in 2019. I didn’t have any easy time recovering from any of them. I think it’s just the way my body is. Having said that, I do think I will go back for one more skin surgery, to take care of the excess skin across my rib cage. He couldn’t do it this time because he didn’t want to compromise any blood flow to my other healing areas.
It sounds as though you’ve done really well with your loss! Get those carbs down, and that protein up, and you will start dropping again!

Thank You for your Sweet Reply💕💕💕💕
      It means so much! We
      DS-er’s totally understand!
      Keep up the good work!
I believe in lots of rest, good nutrition, sleep, and water in order to heal. I never fully appreciated my body’s regenerative capacity until I had all these surgeries. It is totally dependent upon us resting, eating well and getting lots of fluid and sleep! You are doing Awesome❌⭕️❌⭕️😊❤️💪💪💪🎉🎉👍
