- I have a ton of storage for fishing gear - rods, reels, lures, and baits in my Nitro Z20 bass boat but getting things organized from the total storage disaster I had took some thinking. In this video we do a boat walk through of how my boat is organized using tackle boxes and tackle bags.

@@mikeybalzz yes sir she fine just had injections in her back. She's never been around people who get so excited about fishing until me and she got kick out of hearing you that way. I have a man cave in our house with peg board with fly tying material. The rest of the room fishing rods reels lure making material hunting equipment. Hard to stop buying lol. Have a blessed day. Dude, we ALL use those plastic Walmart shoe boxes to store our plastics, lol! They are just perfect for it!
Also, use that slobberknocker now! Those things are awesome! Take a close up look at it and you'll see just how different those things are (like where the weight is).
yeah you can't beat the cheap plastic boxes. try those bags out, they've made oddly shaped stuff so much easier to store.

Great video man. I get the same OCD mentality with my kit. Would love to see a video on how you prep your nitro for your wing man Bog. Food, water, potty breaks, and safety concerns. Looking to take my young shepherd out this year and would welcome any puppy pointers. Keep the show going and be safe in 2023.
interesting vid idea i like it. bog is a trooper doesn't go to the bathroom all day sometimes but if there's an accident always have a walmart bag stashed to clean up and a way to rinse the boat. hardest part with my dog is keeping him cool. i like him wearing the lifevest but the reality is come about april/may it's too hot for him to do so. so i've been trying this cooling vest that helps.

Great video dude. Definitely gonna use some of these tips in my Tracker Pro Team 195TXW Tournament Edition. One thing i do different is put ALMOST ALL my plastics into Boxes by type. I just had too many bags and clamshells
I use very similar boxes for my plastics. One suggestion, I label them in the top also so I don't have to pull them all the way out to read the labels.
Same here using very similar boxes. Great point labeling the top and end or side isn't a bad idea. 👍🏼
Awsome collection 👌 and organization! Go MBRF 🎣 did you find the d.o.a pt-7 ? I used it up north as a frog,and it was killer. Comes in great colors. Green back white belly is 💣! Kinda Hammond herring color. And chartreuse Silver flake! Had good results w those 2 for sure!

All my hard bait and soft bait boxes stay in the exact same order. All my soft plastics bags are also the same way.

Have you thought about moving the soft plastic to the back compartments? I recently moved mine in my Z20 and picked up almost 2 MPH

Dude, I found that baby wipes are way better than having TP. So much easier to pack, don’t have to worry about the package getting wet, and obviously, so much more refreshing 🤣

As long as it helps you locate things, and save time while rigging on the water, that's the key. Did you take pictures of your jig 'album' binder when you set it up, or do you put them right away if you switch lures?

I use a brother label maker to label my boxes since my handwritings so bad lol!
I got the same boat, so I got lots of storage opinions on this lol. First off, what kind of speed are you getting? Mine absolutely becomes a dog when the bow is loaded up front.
I’ve consolidated quite a bit the last year, got all my terminal tackle / hardbaits / and commonly used plastics in planos in the center compartment. Passenger rear compartment completely full of plastics in speed bags. I leave one rear compartment open for co angler or my lunch.
Passenger rod locker is any overflow tackle (practice days only), rain gear, life jackets.
One thing I’ve found is a small storage box fits perfect under the rear compartments. Target is the only place that sells them, 5.5 inches height is the max you can fit under the rear compartments.
with all this stuff and a full gas tank + me and bog i'm doing 71/72
@@mikeybalzz Impressive bro! Even fairly empty I’m lucky to touch 70. Some boats are just a touch faster than others even from the factory. You running a 24 fury? I’ve had more consistent tourney loaded speed with my 24 tempest, my 24 fury can get bogged down when fully loaded / full livewells.
@@MJ_Bass so i'm not a big speed guy and i'm kinda cheap so i'm running whatever came on the boat with the merc. keep in mind too i got lithiums as well except for the cranking battery and this is without water in the wells.
How are you liking that boat since you have put some time in on it ? I have never been a nitro fan but I do see a few of them on the water from time to time
i love my boat. it's simple, got a big deck, she's pretty fast and i have it rigged out pretty sick all for a price point that is a lot more affordable than other brands.
I know you travel a lot, don't use the Loc r bar on your boat?
