About saunas, its normal in Finland to go 200f sauna and you throw water to the stove, se there is many benefits for healtwise from steam and heat, lower blood pressure ect☝🏾
As a woman, I'm glad you did t cut it out. It's so enlightening to hear what guys really think and how they rationalize things. Having women realize how..... simple... your thought process is, would solve a lot of girls' insecurities. I have two small boys but if I had a teenage girl, I would have her listen so she realizes that men are just that....men.
As a 19 year old that has been very into the UA-cam fitness stuff for a long time, I finally realized that the basics are absolutely the best. Especially for young, less injury prone people. I used to copy every nuanced Nippard, Isratel, Janicki exercise and wasn’t growing the way I thought that I should be. Once I started implementing more basic old school lifts my physique took off. Barbell row, Chest Press, and Hack squat have grown me wayyyy more than any one arm laying down lat pull-around, decline crossover chest fly, or seat back laying down leg extension. For beginners especially, full ROM, good form/pace, and going fucking hard as shit on the basic staple exercises are the best things you can do IMO.
Andrew was much more off than Curry was at last years Olympia. The improvements Andrew has made from the back is going to smoke Curry. Andrew side shots are not good because of posing issues. If he fixes the posing then it will propel him to fight for the title. Tyler Manion said it himself.
Iain and Malissa come offten for dinner in my restaurant (ThruWay) in Carleton Place. Iain still looks so huge. Please make a comeback, don't waist this opportunity in life
It would also be a waste if he wants his balls working at 100% in hopes of becoming a father then starts blasting gear again and then ends up permanently ruins his shit. Realistically he’s not going to be Mr. Olympia (no offense Iain) so what’s the point right now?
The last 20-30 minutes was something I didn’t realize I needed to hear, so thank you for all the advice and shoutout to Seth for being vulnerable for his past.
Keep in mind Curry placed fourth last year coming out of the hospital bed the night before and still look pretty decent so full year prep I think it’ll be in the top four again.
That last segment was deep but needed. Everyone has challenges in their lives, some greater than others but as decent human beings we should be mindful of people's situations. Comparison is the thief of joy and comparing ourselves to people portraying the "perfect" life on social media will always have you feeling you dont have enough. Be happy with the little (and big) things you have. Appreciate you guys and talking openly about this stuff.
This is by far my favorite podcast and group of people to listen to. Aside from the bodybuilding talk, I appreciate all the life advice and insight you all give. Here's to hoping I can one day sit and talk with you all in person.
To go from the discussion at the beginning of this podcast, to the discussion at the end is what makes brochat one of the best podcasts out there. Thanks bros
What's with all the strawmanning? I've never seen a science based lifter (the ones they name at least) not state that you absolutely need hard work and consistency before anything else. Not one of them has advocated otherwise.
holy shit as a 19year old that’s been watching this podcast since the very beginning in 2020 as a 15 year old, this is absolute gold that i have invested in on youtube. everyone that goes to the jim should be watching this show to get the best of everything, experienced men on building muscle that give advice and the perfect definition of bro chat in one.
Just finishing the podcast now, incredibly insightful and deeply meaningful discussion at the end there. I hope the young man who asked that question can reflect on what was shared by the guys. Bless up, Bro Chat. Thank you 🤝
Fouad, the best part of your podcast is watching Paul fumble for words for his prayers. The very second Paul says “Dear Leader” Iain has a hard time holding back his laughter and has to cover his face, you have the very best podcast EVER, never change
Rally loved Mikes bit at the end 2:26:34 onwards. Really resonated because this is really where I found myself 2-3 years ago. That fear of ever reaching that point is the reason I am as successful as I am now.
When you guys answered the question about the kid having low times was awesome! The time you each put into answering his question. You guys really cared! And that was awesome! So much respect for you guys!!
The last part of the podcast really resonated with me. I’m in the process of getting up from rock bottom and it’s cool to hear these men talk about their experiences and advice. Thanks Fouad, Mike, Iain, Seth and Paul.
Man, that's why i love this podcast. It's all laughs and fun, and then the last discussion about life is just a masterpiece. i literally sat there thinking about everything in my life and what I'm grateful for. Thank you all. Mike is totally right that whatever you're going through, there's someone out there who is going through worse, and that brings some sort of comfort that we can always bounce back yet that doesn't mean we sit down and be depressed about it, we need to push forward nonetheless. Good times never last, neither the bad ones
Really appreciate the discussion in response to a viewer question about getting out of a slump or low point! It's important for men young and old to talk to someone when they're struggling and that there's no shame in it! Good job gentlemen!
Really appreciate the last conversation. My rock bottom was two years ago and I'm still not out of the hole yet. Moving out will make you feel better, but living with your parents is an unbelievable financial blessing and enabled me to afford going to a really expensive gym and eating plenty. It's up to you which is worth more. Seth's story was heartbreaking.
OMG, the funniest 30 minutes EVER. Wasn't having a great day, then this really put a smile on. Thanks so much guys for the continued laughs. It seems so much
As a 28yo still living at home, I really needed that ending from Iain and Mike. My perspective has recently changed and I 100% can already see an improvement. Now I gotta work to never be this low again.
I am Seth.. ditto.. for over 20 years... never had break.. training kept me alive but getting older, injuries ever even that being lost..nice to see Seth being the man that's come through..well done show for bring it up!.. don't make life better, but know its not just me.
When you guys pulled up Andrew's video, I started cackling laughing at your reactions. His front double and front lat spread are just out if this world, and so pretty. He is incredible. I'm so excited for the olympia. Also, I love this group of guys, everyone's personality fits so well.
What a great episode. I'm one of the people that hit rock bottom in my late teenage years. Drugs bad habits etc I am now 31 years old, master plumber in 3 states and a business owner with 2 healthy beautiful children and a beautiful wife that shares the same passion and drive as me. There isn't any problem you can't solve, it's just more work to do 💪🏽
For the young gentleman living at home, looking for a job and guidance.. life is full of lows and they are very important. Life is not about removing the lows, it’s about becoming stronger and wiser so you can continually overcome the lows and handle even greater lows. Most of the beneficial personal growth and change comes from the low times. Also, low times usually eventually generate high times. If you’re a young man/woman graduating college and everything in life is super smooth for you it means the challenges aren’t great enough and those rare few people usually end up being turds haha
Good advice. I’d also add that you need to view yourself from another perspective. For example, choose someone that you genuinely care about. For me it was my mom. Whenever I’ve been at a low point in my life, I think about how much joy it would bring her to see me succeed or be productive. Kind of corny stuff to say and think about but it genuinely leads you to becoming better than the present you

Fouad looks like someone that would struggle alot on a diet prepping for a show more than others , i guess he just loves good food
@@Blaze11257 i think he might struggle, but still he put in the work and did the job, coming in at his best.
