- 3 Days to Go for Nigerian Protests: Tinubu Govt Scrambles to Stop Them | Vantage With Palki Sharma
Nigerian government scrambles to prevent the #EndBadGovernance protests scheduled for August 1. State-run oil giant NNPC announced job openings on the social media platform X. Religious leaders are asking people not to protest. The Nigerian police want all prospective demonstrators to submit a host of details at the nearest police station. Will Tinubu's government manage to stop the protests before they begin?

As a Kenyan Gen Z: We are with our brothers and sisters in Nigeria....All Africans leaders must be held accountable!!!
Thank you for the support. We are in this together. The growth of Africa is for Africans
✊✊
Thank you for the support, nothing good can come out from this administration. They were even paying religious leaders to speak to their followers not to protest.
Thanks for the support. We must get it right in 9ja.
Thank you for the support.Africa for Africans 🫡
Palki Nigeria 🇳🇬 loves you
Thank you for always coming through
Palki, you are dealing with Biafrans, who specialize in MANIPULATING the media for personal gains
Dude she isn’t helping you, she’s making money off the stories😅
@@chinkizz no problem! That's fine
Some Africans love everyone else except themselves. How the heck is a reporter just doing her job coming through for you? 🤦♂️ As Africans, we really need to buckle up. All these people actually despise us but love to exploit us. And gullible ones amongst us thanks them for that
It's okay to make Money off what you do best - 5.2million people can't be easily fooled
Bad government needs to be stopped in Nigeria. #endbadgovernance
i support nigerins, we in kenya , we protested, burned parliament and still we are alive ,Protest .
We are learning from Kenya ❤❤
We are not burning our country, keep your mess on your side !
@@gideonworship6124Bro did you read the comment correctly? He did not say burn the country. There is big difference between burning a parliament building and burning the country
@@nwupdates9767 And there is a very big difference between peaceful protests in africa or middle east and in europe. It is much easier for our protests to turn to anarchy ! Look at libya today... I am not taking that risk. Things are bad but we are still moving forward !
This is a really bad government.
I am korean. I support Nigerian citizens
Thank u very much
Palki is the best in world.. always unfiltered. Love you ma
LOL!…..BS
I am a Nigerian. The state of affairs of the nation is beyond explanable. The govt actually paid protesters who are govt workers for an anti-protest March which was today. More so, Tinubu's daughter is the head of Market women in Nigeria (by delegation) she is actually forcing those traders to an anti-protest March on 1st of August against the actual planned Endbadgovernance Protest.... It worsening everyday being a Nigerian living in Nigeria without being in Politics or doing fraud & others.... The new minimum wage is not up to $50 in a month... Cost of living is worst & even a Bag of rice 🍚 cannot be purchased within the country with the minimum wage
Remember everything they do to you they already did to us
The government use poverty as a weapon... Only revolution will make things right, but who wants to be our Moses
The bad government made naria not to have value again.
Naria is more or less useless.
You just perfectly summarized everything. Thumbs up
How much in USD does it take for a single person in Nigeria to live. I'm just curious.
I like this woman. She truly understand the situation infact she is even reducing some.
Kenyans stand with you!!!
Ghana should be next on the list,am with u Nigeria 🇳🇬 #endbadgovernacenow
Your mother would be next!… it left with only four months to decide who should be the leader of Ghana, however you still think we need to demonstrate? For what? Masa the best form of demonstration is using your thumb to decide who should be your leader!
@@clementasampana4402 Change in regime not going to do anything you need to protest and send a message to the politicians who are entitled period, that's how democracy works
I live in Ghana and I can tell you, no one has the time and energy to protest here. Things are already too expensive we cant be causing more damages 😂😂. Our currency is not good right now we don't have enough to fix damages. We will just talk on social media😂😂
@@clementasampana4402that is where democracy works, not in Nigeria
@@micheal5491And you say you are in Ghana? Nonsense!
I was with my inlaw in Accra few weeks back a lot of Ghanaians are supper ready to protest
If there's any chaos from August 1st to 10th, the tinubu led government is responsible.

All Nigerians are responsible for the bad economic situation in the country and it's wrong to pass the blame on the present administration who is trying to correct the past misdeeds.
The one of Nigeria is long overdue the hardest is overwhelming currently the cost of living is three times harder ever before.
my brother it's even worst than three times. imagine a cup of sugar that used to be less than ₦100 for a cup now ₦400 and above.😢

Palki the best. If this protest succeeds in Nigeria, that's all. The rest of Africa will follow.

No she can’t. You just suffer from inferiority complex 🤦♂️

Bravo.
Tinubu is the worst thing to happen to Nigeria in recent times.
That man is a devil
Palki you're good! Good Nigerians love you for always reporting about bad governance happening in Nigeria to the world.
August first.
Ibrahim Traore: infront of the tv 📺 coffee ☕ please. 😂
Ibrahim is just the best. Love him
I am delighted and thankful the almighty Palki Sharma is putting spotlight on events happening in Africa. The continent has been held back for so long by evil intentioned leaders and political office holders. We do the people have to fight and push for the government to donwhat is right. They enact laws and formulate policies without thinking how it will adversely affect the masses. We have to ensure we get what we want from these criminal politicians at all cost
There’s nothing “Almighty” about Indians exploiting our continent for money. They are no better than Europeans. And thanking them for exploitation is quite frankly pathetic. There are lots of African media that have covered the same story but they aren’t called “Almighty” so what makes these ones special?
Thanks for helping nigeria 🇳🇬 spread the news 🙏
How is she helping? She is exploiting Africa for money through the media yet you claim she is helping? What about the African media who cover this, are they helping too? Nigeria will remain where it’s currently at if most of them think like you

Fuel today is #1300 per liter. We definitely going to the streets
That price per litre is just ridiculous
For which part of Nigeria abeg???
It is 720 Naira in government (NNPC) filling stations and others like A A Rano, shafa and Salbas filling stations. And 850 Naira in marketers filling stations here in Kano State of Nigeria
It's true, it's 1300 in ikorodu Lagos
Confirmed. Lagos today... Marketers are hurding fuel

No body is to blame. They had the right to choose good leadership but rejected it
Wow, you are doing a great Job. Big GBOSAAAS to he world's best journalists❤.

Let them forget all those formalities and papar work! All we just need is transparency in our Nation, seriously it's hard to know what will happen next tomorrow, but I hope the government understands the gravity of our desperate situation in Nigeria. We the youths can't build our future with bad governance! Things are crazily hard in our country, we were hoping that the current government will make it better, but it feels like we're being dragged deeper and deeper into the depths of the ocean.... No more! We've had enough, things must change in this country... every one clearly knows this, even police and armed forces, Senators, governors, etc... #endbadgovernance
All hell is gonna break loose! They are starving citizens of Nigeria, a rich nation, to death. Worst of all the publicly mock us by frivolously saying, "we will allow the poor to breathe for a minute".
Really? God will judge all of them.
Palki reports about Nigeria better than most of our TVs. JH is now praise singing hangout

New Nigeria is going to be born on the 1st August, 2024. #EndbadgovernanceinNigeria#
my problem is that, why do the media outlets outside of Africa always use images from remote areas in Africa in their publications instead of the beautiful cities.
Because that's the reality. Most people falls under that category. Only few people live in those nice places per statistic
The protest must hold
I pay taxes as a Nigerian yet my money is continuously wasted by the government.
Thank you for bringing this to light , some of our governors claim the people have no reason to protest just because they can not empathize with the people who are suffering , simply they are too rich to understand how it is to be an ordinary Nigerian citizen. These protest will bring shame to them and show the world how terribly the country is being governed so they look for ways to stop the protest by paying ignorant people to come out and say they are against the protest, if really there’s no need to protest then how come they are trying to sabotage the protest and these are the same people who organized protests against a previous president from an opposing political party now it’s their turn and the fear the results …… All evil needs to win is for good men to do nothing !
Tnx @First Post for objective journalism.
Main stream media is full of control and bias. We need our service to cover everything as they happen.
Nigeria politicians are wicked
We don't even believe in the incentives they claim to provide.
70k naira minimum wage cannot feed a family for 1 week.
Tinubu must reverse fuel subsidy to end high cost of living, stop borrowing to worse economic situation and restore value of naira. The suffering does not affect them bc they borrow and share money in foreign currency. Therefore they do not understand what ppl go through
Palki, am proud of you, Nigeria government are heartless,
Keep going on, do not stop if you don't fight now, your children will be fighting the same fight as bad government find the song wait in the water learn it teach it to everyone for it will be the song that will form the fist, around the globe ,in jesus mighty name.
