Captivating Conversations - Joseph Pratt

“Captivating Conversations” is an ongoing lecture series, hosted by the Old Idaho Penitentiary and featuring a variety of guest speakers and topics ranging from the history of the Idaho State Penitentiary to the issues facing correctional institutions today.
Joe Pratt is a recently returned citizen who spent 32 years of a life sentence in the Idaho Department of Corrections for murder in the first degree. He was paroled last year. Joe was active in several programs at the Idaho Department of Corrections including Addictions Recovery and Living Skills Education, Cognitive Restructuring Classes and Process Groups, Alcohol Anonymous, Correctional Industries, and a facilitator and mentor in several life skills-based programs at the institution.
