Hey, Psyclonesteve! Back in 2006, Son Of Beast had an accident where a cracked wooden pillar caused the train to stop, sending 27 people to the hospital!
@@elevatoralarmcoasterandarc1214 you wanna know a interesting fact about that? Me and my dad both literally rode the ride a month just before the accident happened. We were on it on June 2006. I personally miss this ride. It was really fun to me, and a part of my childhood
Hi there! Would it be ok for me to use this footage in an upcoming documentary I am working on covering Son of Beast? I will provide full credit to this channel of course!
I've found all my worst on-ride experiences to be down to steel - in particular, Boomerangs, SLC's and those two utterly hideous Toboggans I rode (one at Lakemont, the other at Trimpers). And Goudurix, of course. As for wood, I only ever rode this on the '03 tour but I found it somewhat enjoyable. I heard that it later became horrendous. I also liked its dad but hated those brakes and reeeeaaaally wished to have had the chance to be there in its prime. No, for me, the worst woodie in my memory is Grizzly at PGA, but that was down to tedium. The most unrideable, albeit neither of which were bad on my first experience, were Hercules and Predator. But this is from someone who enjoyed Psyclone and Rattler.
The concept is great and the ride looked good but the execution wasn't very good. Hopefully one day gravity group, GCI or even Intamin should make a hyper woodie
Here is the looping woodie !

Hi Ryan Happy New Year. sorry for the delay in replying please go ahead use the footage you need and credit as usual. Take care and keep safe. Sharon
My worst on-ride experience ever...ouch!
Oh dear ! :-(
***** Was a very uncomfortable ride...so much so I was worried I thought I would injure my spine...the loop was the only smooth part of the ride.
Yeah, it looks horrific, mind you, I didn't particularly like the father much :-)
I like the Beast at night...really different experience in the dark!
