As the heat increases, more power comes up the coil. I tried putting a new coil as if the coil might be gone and the power is still coming from the coil.
As there is a problem in the male and female sockets, I tried powering the coil directly, same problem. When the coil heats up, the power comes up and shocks the vessel. What to do... Sir?

@@TARIQLAB can you tell me what a normal resistance value would be on the coil? I have a coffee maker with a lukewarm hot plate. Often it doesn’t work at all. oh it is activated electronically, but the hotplate is basic. The live lead comes in, attaches to a thermal switch, then from the switch to the coil, send it through two thermal fuses, and out and return lead. The coil is a tiny horseshoe, and reads .202 on my multi tester. Set at 20 K
