She tried. She really did. And when she couldn't succeed going down one road....she tried the same approach, but from a different direction. He is spot on when he talks about how black women have this immense pedestal to consistently talk about what they don't like, won't tolerate, and/or despise in black men (especially the same few the keep choosing from) but the minute a black man speaks out about things we don't like, won't tolerate, or despise about black women......they come unglued. It's like they can dish it out but can't even begin to take that clapback.

I would like to ask you if you have never met women who behave in a positive manner, who are respectful, who are kind and educated, who know that they are worth a commitment in a genuine loving relationship? I know more women like that than those who for whatever reason behave in a negative way. He is entitled to his opinion which is based on a small sample. I think just because someone says something over and over again it does not make it true. Now I have said that I can evaluate what he means and he is right there are some women who fit that stereotype but not the majority. I would ask him to broaden his horizon and learn more about himself and his narrowed prospective. With respect I can also say he needs to stop making money out of these negative groups or put the money towards supporting at least a few towards being educated. Jay dee In this video's interview, they both had points. As someone who's closely watched Tommy (and heard him disect why he speaks about black women with vigor), I can tell you that he's like this due to his upbringing. How his mother was to him. How his grandmother was to him at some points. How the mother of his children are/were to him. While I do find myself agreeing with him at times (and DEFINITELY with the points he made to the other 6 women, not including the woman in this specific video), I do find fault in his delivery. I don't personalize anything he says and I never have he is entitled to feel the way he feels. He procreated with a black woman and birth two black females. He is not the spokes person for black woman. I feel that black women only get offended when they feel he is speaking to their own truth. See, here's the thing. A public figure can only relay the message. This man always says *not all* and if folks _cain't_ understand that then hey...too bad. Bottom line, this is the Internet and it's entertainment. Don't like it, don't watch it. I just don't trip off of the small stuff, especially when I can avoid it. I enjoy Thomas as we are friends.
