These days I always use the gel pen first. It actually helps me to work faster because I can line up the basics of the design and then very quickly and confidently work with the Jagua to create all the details without any hesitation. Especially helpful for symmetry or designs on areas like the chest and shoulders where I need to line it up carefully. The result is definitely “professional”!
Beautiful work! Thanks so much for the white pen tip!

Really good idea to do this well done what we need when we are not as confident in our patterns

Can you use the gel pen technique for Henna as well?, and I was wondering does using the gel pen affect the henna or Jagua stain in any way?
hello, i have tested this. Water soluble gel pens do not affect the stain but all other pens do from what ive been able to tell
@Ova-bv4os can you recommend a brand that doesn't cause a resist for the stain? Thank you
It’s pronounced “ Yaw-Gwah”
