The whole perma-death thing was a 4th wall break to leave the player in a state of anxiety or sort of psychological chokehold to further the feeling of psychosis.
This is not a game to be beaten or just played. It's an experience

It must have been a blessing for Ninja Theory to specutalte who could be a good actress for Senua and then finding out the best one already works in the own video department.
53:00 This environment design reminds me of "Control's" Panopticon (cylinder structure with crossing bridges towards puzzles/arenas) and Black Rock Quarry (black reflective rocks). Since "Control" came out two years later it could have been an inspiration.

You getting lost in the cave and finding the final unfounded runes5one was TOTALLY worth it. You'll now get the extra final scene in the 3nd. That just made me happy! Haha Awesome!

I really don't know how a sequel to this would possibly work without feeling redundant. But I'd like to find out. Unfortunately it's not coming out to PS so I'll have to wait for a possible port. You mever know. It's too bad because I would have liked to support the studio, since I've enjoyed all their single player games, even DmC to some degree. It's not like Gamepass was any good for Hi-Fi Rush or any other "smaller" game.
Edit: I completely forgot about the sequel bait at the end haha.
