What's rather interesting to note from these early shows to the later and current ones, is what does & doesn't happen. I remember in the early shows, even talked about by the crew here, is that sometimes not much happened, whereas in the later to current shows, something always happens, and that's odd, as it should be roughly the same. There can only be one reason for this, and although I do believe that strange things can & do happen, the shows creators realised that you must have something happen in each show, and so they make it happen!! In addition, the early to mid shows used mediums etc to add excitement, and they would often mention light anomalies. Most Haunted stopped using mediums quite a while back now, and they never mention light anomalies anymore, so how do they fill the gap? One thing that almost never happened early on, but that happens 99% of the time now is - knocking - and lots of it! The only way this could be achieved is by an invisible, ultra secret crew member who we've never seen, and whose job it is to provide this effect. Admittedly, some of the knocking would be difficult to fake, and perhaps occasionally it's real, but to have it in every show, when it never happened in these early shows, is a sure sign that something's afoot. However, I'm still a fan of the show, I think some of it may be 'real', and I think their original intentions were good, but they felt forced into providing what the audience wanted - Ghosts!
🎭 WOW!!! 🥳 Omg…how old is this?? It’s from the 90’s.. as much as I like watching M.H & have done since they were a weekly show I’d look forward to. Both my cousin & I who both had very young kiddies would call each other.. (And bc we lived across the road from each other, in a housing scene on the south/East area of Edinburgh..) either 1 of us would call the other to make sure they’d gotten everything done..(kids sorted & asleep.. dishes & laundry done & we where sitting relaxed with coffee & snacks- mines where McVities choc digestives, or choc hobnobs) & we both smoked so obv the ashtray & fags would also be either within easy reach. Either on a side or coffee table..ha ha..After the initial history & their classic walk around with the lovely Derek Ackora & Richard Felix, their teams historian, to validate what Derek, the psychic would get right..The guy taking notes was usually the parapsychologist.. Karls always been the teams producer, who him & Stuart who came into the team later did all the editing & the extra shots, shown usually at the start when they do re-enactments of the folks of the bygone age who once lived in these amazingly preserved old buildings..(most are turned into museums as we are very protective & rightly so..As some places like many castles for e.g go away far back as... 7th & 8th centuries. Just like most other countries wish to preserve their history!) THOSE WINDOWS WILL BE ORIGINAL AS WELL..HOW AWESOME..And you can tell how old the building is by the thickness of the walls & windows etc.. 🙏🏼 RIP DEREK🙏🏼❣️ Wow-seeing these rlly old versions makes me feel old!! 😅😅 BUT WE ARE ONLY AS OLD AS WE FEEL,, AGE IS JUST A NO🤍☮️ From another old time fans of MH crew..🤍
