I saw their livestream last Sunday... I can confirm that on stage this song is simply timeless... Moreover, Fami's performance is even more prodigious than on the studio version. Another thing you would have liked, Haruna gave us a drum solo which must have woken up Bonham lol Hello from France

Please keep up the good work LOVEBITES. 【The following is from an interview with LOVEBITES for a magazine project】 [Miyako] As for "Soldier Stands Solitarily", I had a demo of it when I was working on the "Glory, Glory, to the World" EP (2021). It had a completely different shape than this one, except for the chorus. The chorus was punchy and had a good melody, so I wasn't satisfied with it as it was. This time, I restructured it and reincarnated it. In Miyako's mind, she thought the BPM was too fast, so Miyako said in her mind to Haruna, "I'm sorry," "If you lower this BPM, it will feel different!" He said. So in Miyako's mind, Miyako said, "Haruna can play at this BPM," and"If you don't play like this, it won't sound cool!" With that in mind, Miyako entered the bass line into the software. Japanese women and children hold up the index fingers of both hands and place them on either side of their head in a "demon" pose, making a "I'm so angry!" and make a "kawaii" expression. At an album presentation at her home, Miyako said, "Asami & Haruna, I'm sorry! and wrote it down and projected it on the screen. The belt Miyako requested for Asami was too high and the BPM Miyako requested for Haruna was too fast, so I think Miyako lovingly apologized to Asami and Haruna with a handwritten message panel on the screen.
I think that this could be only song that they couldn't play live. Its too hard on the vocals, especially drumms, tempo is too fast. M & M could pull it out but others maybe, maybe not. Its on a Dragon Force level songs that even they never play live-pure speed power metal madness. AND I LOVE IT!
Having said that, Miyako has said in an interview that she wrote it specifically to be played live and she's looking forward to doing that. So... we'll see...
