I've been watching your videos for a while now and I absolutely love to see your constant enthusiasm! 😃 I was a lorry driver for 5,5 years and I've always loved the job! Especially the LZV's (the double trailer combo's with a length of 25,25 meters in the Netherlands). I drove DAF XF's most of the time, great trucks too. Unfortunately adding lights and horns wasn't allowed at the company I worked for 😮💨 I'm a train driver now, but driving a proper V8 truck is still on my bucket list. Hopefully one day.. Until then I'll be following your career and your builds! Can't wait to see a video of you on your first job with your own truck!😁👍

Broshuis are dutch build trailers, they are rugged, well build, steered and can take a real beating. I used to run a Broshuis 2connect, 5 axle seacon Breaker chassis. Hauled up to 80 metric tons on it...
That was a good race northbound between Stansted and Saffron Walden up the M11...

My first truck I learned to drive was a Marmon, don't know if you heard of that make of truck,it was a convensanol,hope I spelled that right,love that truck, easy to drive and handle, really super nice bunk to sleep in.
When I was on the farm I’d throw the straps over and my dog would pull on the other side and take the tension out so I could hook it on before attaching the ratchet

Great content mate just be carful when filming as when you was loading straw and you swapped wagons around im guessing when the “boss” moved the truck he drove with your tacho in the machine 🫣
I drove past the farm your loading at the other day, on my way to chelmsford from loughborough. I was in a car transporter though. Have run straw but not in a lorry 😅 Also done a bit of combine harvesting 👌🖐️

class video, looked like you had super fun. Question from a Virtual trucker lol the rear steer trailers, do they feel totally different to normal trailers? i find they are harder to reverse and use due the steering on them it really throws me off. though im only on a PC so not a real truck but curious how they feel compared to a normal trailer. cant wait for more content.

I drive with a 13,60 meter crane trailer. 3 steering axels. And can extand the trailer to 20 meter.

The thing with this type of work is the comradery. Although it may not be for you, there is definitely a bit of comradery involved especially if you go in twos. And you can have fun talking crap along the way.
