The circular pattern on the extruded cut is incorrect bc the the pattern will be based off an irregular face. The endpoints of the triangular cuts on opposite side of the gem aren't tangent to the bottom edge. You should instead create a circular pattern of the sketch entity on the plane and do surface cuts from that
