Tbh it’s not I’ve lived here for 8 years and it’s not as expensive as y’all think it is. Tbh the hack lowkey was going to more expensive supermarkets and the wraps he got I used to get for 50p. Corn flakes here is actually 2.5 pounds in a more bigger supermarket such as carrefour. Dubai is expensive if you want to be lavish but it’s just as easily cheap if you want to be.
@@sami-pl5fm Exactly, It's expensive cause he was in the wrong places to look for expensive food and stuff, he should've done research on where cheap food or cost of living and stays should be.
The cereal was expensive because it'll be imported in small quantities raising the price. Like how if you go into Tesco you're gonna pay like £6 for a box of twinkies that cost £2.40 in the US.
@@preetscloset4116 Oh yeah i didnt even think to address that part. The tesco ones might’ve been cheaper but i think there was defo kellogs ones there too.

I used to live in Dubai as a kid and still go there on holiday as my dad still lives there, every Dubai video I watch on UA-cam I recognise at least one place, I used to go that same supermarket that was featured in the video and it packs a punch of nostalgia

At 16:37 you were having a dish called 'gol gappey' which is actually fried balls and potato filling with spicy sauce and sweet chutney(sauce), it is an indian dish, nice to see you enjoyed it! :)
8:19 Why they didn't gave you green chutney ? It's a mixture of mint leaves, green chilli, tamrind juice and salt blended together Vada pav must be eaten with green chutney or else it feel so dry.
Good content bro I appreciate being able to experience each n every video u post I’m in Brooklyn newyork USA. I always see u get the 1 pound pizza. Here in newyork we have a dollar pizza but it’s literally only 1 slice not a mini pie.
Actually that rice flour kara thing is known as 'vada'. It is a famous dish from South India , India is the best spot for u for food u can get food of different taste, texture, type , seasoning etc and within 1 pound. U can get street foods for like 20 to 50 indian rupees that is like 20 to 50pence in uk
I’ve always enjoyed your videos and, they never disappoint. Hope you continue sharing your inspiring content and, I wish you a wonderful day/night brother. ❤️
Deira is so much cheaper than Central Dubai. I stayed in Deira my first time in Dubai. U go left as u come out the train station wall up to the fish round about and the hotel was there on the left hand side opposite a masjid . There's so much cheap street foods and local foods in Deira
That Donut shaped snack is called Vada- south Indian , its made of 90% urud dhal( a type of Lentil) with10% rice and other spices , grind as thick batter then make it doughnut shape and deep fry in oil , goes well with coconut chutney ! rich in Protein
To be honest, you have ate probably 95% Indian food and not like UAE food aka “Emirati food” and yeah i hope that you can experience some traditional Emirati dishes such as Machboos and harees, thank you for visiting our country man!
hi the hack! im a subscriber of yours here in the philippines, and i would like to suggest to you to try filipino foods here and do a content about it. thanks and more powers to all
Haha Toba! You tried all the Indian food today 😂. The Wrap(Paratha), The Doughball(forgot what it's called), Vada Pav, the Triangle Puff Pastry(Potato Samosa), The crunchy oval things (Pani Puri) and the Last Doughnut(Vada). It's really interesting that Dubai is so heavily influenced by Indians as all of these are Indian food. I wish I was there with you haha so I could have recommended the best things to eat.
I don’t recommend you to buy at West Zone, They tax their products more high than other supermarket’s. Even when buying at Hyper Markets like Carrefour you get It for half the price.
Hi guys, we're back with another £1 video, this time in Dubai! sounds impossible so let’s see how i got on. Enjoy!
epik
Insane!
Good lad
If you go to Diera city they have massala chai for 0.50 AED and indian food for like 2 AED

Another amazing video as always Toba!
The cereal is expensive because its imported from outside UAE which logically raises the price, the opposite is why the meat is cheaper (local meat)
cool thing i learned from watching boris, almost everything is imported in dubai because of the climate
this man is probably so rich with all the money hes saved doing these vids
Also gaining money at the same time
@Ty Cornish how u kno ?
8:09 "Will you marry me?"
Literally the most relatable question for a Mumbaikar.😂❤️
the cereals were more expensive probably because theyre imported products
Fantastic content, I love every video. Keep up the awesome work
