We're trending upward. I wasn't even fazed when we went on that 6-game losing streak, you just knew they would find their stride eventually & go on a run. If not for the refs cheating us on the Hornets game, we'd be on a 6-game win streak right now. Aside from some sloppiness & getting relaxed with a big lead, today they played their best basketball thus far & the team looked like they had a lot of fun. Giannis is looking like the best player in the league. It's crazy how Giannis gets so many 30+pt games while shooting over 60%. The other day, he broke the record for most 40pt games while shooting over 70% with 21 of them on his résumé. Dame & Giannis' chemistry is getting better, & the new additions are also getting more comfortable. People act like Giannis wasn't injured the last two playoffs, if he was healthy, we definitely wouldn't have been a 1st round exit. Lol
As long as Doc keeps DNP'ing Pat Cone-aughton I'll be happy. No excuse to be playing the worst defender in the NBA 20 mpg like doc was. Hope he's seen the light and isn't just doing this for a couple games

Dame playmaking/gravity and the way he manipulates defenses as the PnR ball handler helps the team a lot. Once that 3 ball starts falling that he wants it to, this will all come together.

Giannis is a willing passer. what u talking about? He is averaging about 8 assists a game on this stretch .. Dame also scoring 25 and dishing out 10+ assist too.. they are starting to mesh better
He's legitimately passing to dame nearly every possession, dame is just bricking his catch and shoot 3s when he does because that's not his game, or passes to someone else. Their chemistry is coming along fine, dame is actually finding Giannis in the pick and roll now, I'm sure Giannis will figure out how to feed dame better as well now that Pat Cone-aughton isn't being targeted on defense for 20mpg. It's hard to get in rhythm when you have one massive liability like Pat dragging the entire team down.

I don’t know why people are so down on Dame. What’s clear is that Dame and Giannis are still figuring out how to play together. They are both incredibly high usage players. Both are used to having the ball in their hands early often and late. Now both of them have different games that can benefit from each other’s style of game. One big change that I have noticed is that Giannis is getting the ball in different locations of the floor. During the losing streak Giannis would stand at the top of the key while Dame is operating. With as much attention as Giannis get in the paint, Giannis standing at the top of the key allowed defenders to crowd the paint and keep the defense evenly spread, leaving no working room for Dame or anyone else. Looking back at the Bulls game, Giannis was positioned more so by the elbow, which allowed Giannis to be in position to facilitate either as a pick man, or as a passer. It’s little details like this that if the team can improve around these two guys the rest of the team can flourish .

Dame has never been a “mindless ball hog combo shooter”. You can’t be one of the best PnR ball handlers of all time doing that, that’s a very reductive analysis of Dame’s game.
It's probably hard, because Giannis has the ball so much. To be on a team where multiple guys averages 6+ assist & one of their usage rates is super high, it's gonna be hard for the other guy to get 10 per night. I kind of wish they did let Dame run the offense more, but things are kind of working right now, so can't really complain.
@@lazzi2462 Part of running the offence is setting guys up. When you have a guy making 60+% of his shots, it's your job to find him. The more Dame defers to the best player in the league, the better we will be.
