- You guys requested I do more Vegan Spots so my boy boy Brandon put me on to Vegan AF!
I'm not a huge fan of a lot of vegan spots but this one was pretty fire. Not healthy, but all vegan food isn't meant to be healthy. It's more about not wanting to eat animal products & I can get behind that.

I’ve had them before they really are a nice size and they don’t skimp. Still pricey but it’s definitely not just one standard egg roll

Most of the people commenting are most likely not vegan. Only if they knew how much vegan ingredients cost, they would gladly pay the $20 per roll to support her business.

Agave is basically sugar Stevia or monkfruit is a great sugar substitute
I was gonna say... No sugar? Agave syrup is literally fructose. It's better than glucose for blood sugar spikes if that's an issue for you, but it's still definitely a type of sugar.

The vegan meat is a scam. They used to feed us plant based meat crap in school, 70's & 80's, because it was a cheap meat substitute. Now with marketing & branding it's like the whole Diamond markerting scam. GTFOH

What type of agave does she use for the drink? Because if it's agave syrup, it definitely has at least 4g of sugar per teaspoon. So saying it has no sugar would be misleading.

@@cynthiamckinney4276 ....she's running a business in LA using high end ingredients, these prices will hold up. I don't know where people are getting the money but people are paying these types of prices for the food they like.
I'm in San Francisco and this is rather typical.
It's almost better for the business owner to target more high end consumers right now who have disposable income. It's the smaller businesses that rely on the lower working class and the poor to survive that are shutting down all over the place. High end business is thriving. I think she is doing the right thing as a business owner.

Maybe it takes her more effort and time to put into making these options but there’s no such thing as a high end ingredient. I get it she targets people who can afford to spend that type of money. She said she frequents Hollywood so I see where her focus is. That’s not gonna sustain the type of life style she wants. She’s not offering high class food. It’s a healthy choice and that’s what’s helping her in this moment. A 20$ roll is ridiculous and not at all a reasonable price that any one should pay. I could see at least that being half the price, and her getting more money. Every day consumers outnumber the wealthy or well off, so the best thing for her to do is lower her prices, so that everyone would want to try her product, and that’s where the money comes in…

Her vegan rolls are legit. I had it about a year or so ago. I had the cheeseburger roll! FIRE! They just took very long but they are good.
But not for 20 bucks though. I dont even like paying 20 plus for a lobster roll but i can better justify that over some fake meat

Alex, if you wanna try some more good vegan food, I can Highly HIGHLY recommend Borreguitas in Pomona! The best vegan quesabirria I have ever had! Gotta check out their secret menu! Super good food, relatively affordable, and they got all kinds of authentic Mexican food! Haven't had a bad thing on their menu 😅😋

I paid 30$ for a vegan soul food plate at a place out here in Arizona, I’d pay 20$ for an egg roll once or twice. The experience sometimes beat the cost.
