I went in really skeptical because Elite was basically a murder mystery and I was wondering how they were going to engage viewers when literally everyone has watched the original but I must say, they've made a true adaptation. They stuck to the original vibe but incorporated so many new things specific to India that I was hooked! I finished watching it in two sessions

It's a great show given how beautiful it's adapted and especially is feeding the genz taste. It feels really good it see our indian shows going away from stereotypical side of bollywood to something real and dark which is more often the actual real life. Still, the orthodox minds or viewers who are only into what people or majority has fed them into are gonna judge the show. All actors here have done exceptionally well. Keep up the good work guys.
I myself am against adaptions, and feel all of them are shit, but we have to appreciate what they have done here. By the looks of the first episode I think some of the things were a bit exaggerated like calling people poor. This doesn’t happen in practical world but overall the setup was awesome.
Why is Moses (Sharan) so defensive about his character? The host was just asking questions based on the viewer's opinion.

i've never watched hindi movies or media and i didn't expect much from this show, and i was WRONG omg. it was so good. i just hate the fact that netflix set the default audio in english when hearing them speak in their native language even sounded better 😭

Its not a remake completely if people have seen ELITE theres a lot of changes and even new concepts and different views for CLASS. This is a adaptation not a remake stop saying its a remake and even if it is...its so fckn good and I want seasons more please @netflix bring it on
wld be interesting will they be able to bring a successful closure to faruq and dhuv's relationship and move forward with that of veer and saba these guys are way cuter than those of original but so much of gen x involvement muddied the plot for me
