- Ranjani and Gayatri present a Ragamalika composition that traces the life and journey of one of the greatest saints of Bharat, Adi Shankaracharya, from His birth at Kalady to samadhi at Kedarnath. This composition by Kanniks Kannikeswaran, has been released by His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Sri Bharati Teertha Mahaswami on the momentous occasion of Shankara Jayanti on May 6th 2022 at Shringeri Mutt.

Everything about this is Soulful and magical- the sound of the lyrics, the visuals, the voices of the sisters pouring out Bhakti and melody and oh! That Purvi! Just haunting.
You sisters maintain the right measure of technical brilliance and emotionalism of Carnatic music which is simply so satisfying and liberating to rasikas like me.

Everytime I listen, I discover a new nuance in this creation. And this time it was the sweetness of the mridangam and the violin. Manoj Siva was literally enunciating the lyrics with his fingers and Charumathi’s violin is like a sprinkle of gold dust on every phrase!

Awesome rendition in ragamalika!!!👏👏👏 Each raga has been chosen very well to give wonderful imagination to the listener as though listener him or herself travelling with the Jagadguru Sri Shankarabhagavatpada!!!🙏🙏🙏🙏 Takeoff raga Anandabhairavi is simply superb. By the end, Kedaragowla is still more apt for Kedarnath as Jagadguru's last destination. No words for the inbetween chitteswaras. RAGA sisters, u both r doing a great job in bringing out our great great great saints lyrics musically to give more meaning n divinty for a common man.👌👌👌

Just yesterday I was listening to your Nirvana Shatakam and Subrahmanya Bhujangam to celebrate Shankara Jayanthi. Something about your renditions makes them stand out from all other devotional albums, something so indescribably profound about the way you pour your deepest musical and spiritual sensibilities into each of these works. Hearing the precious, potent words sung with piercing devotion and purity in your voices. With the perfect soundscape and instrumental arrangements, every time!
And here is one such tribute, in fact the tribute of tributes to the great great Jagatguru. How each raga is woven so beautifully - be it Kannadagowla for Karnataka, Gurjari for Gujarat or Shankarabharanam because Badari! With those raga defining, charming chittaswarams. And the end, where you reinforce the principal principles in quick succession... Goosebumps. That Kedar... The last line echoes in our hearts long after we're done listening. Isn't that the point? Thank you for everything you do.

The rendition of these excellent slokas is like malayamarutham touching you and taking you to another world. It is beyond my vocabulary to express how they excellently sang this Ragamalika. Any one having an ear for classical music, should compulsorily listen to this masterpiece once a day especially in the morning hours.

Voice quality of the sisters - excellent. Unhurried rendition. Able to hear more of Ranjani madam. Pronounciations excellent. Laden with bhavam. Essence of ragam is so pure. Very clean rendition. No gimmicks . That makes RAGA who they are .
Absolutely correct what Geeths Devarajan commented. Both sisters are so perfect in their bhavam of Kritika they render, ragam and gamakas they render and above all pronunciation, ascent of any language Kritika/ song they render with absolute perfection..I personally start my day listening their music daily.

Addictive here implies that it's the sweetest and nectar like addiction. I have a question ⁉️ how can one come out untouched by your music when it touches the heart . The greatest jagatguru is bound to be touched and melted by your music . With such prowess and lioness like majestic voices , this rendition by you both has become the peak of perfection in any song sung so far . How beautifully you both lure kannadagowla with your voices . You both are the epitome of synergy . One impossible without other. I mean to say that the ultimate affection and unconditional love that you possess for each other and the reverence for each other , must be lauded from all directions of the world .
