    Congratulations! It was difficult but it was through to the end. It takes a lot of patience and persistence.
    I also had some difficulties, but with your help, following step by step and overcoming your mistakes I managed to get to the end in less time. Thank you so much for sharing, for your video.

    I'm late to the X6100 party, having just picked up a b-stock unit at an absurdly low price. I bought the same rails/handle kit and just installed them both. Damn it, braiding that handle is NOT easy! Despite your guidance, I struggled all the way through it, right to the end! I was almost done, then noticed a botched stick 1/3 of the way in. Of course I had to reverse my work to go back and fix it. I'm loving the rails and handle though, I'm not nearly as worried about dropping this impressive but quirky little radio.

    jajajaja really had a laugh trying to follow your instructions, in the end I tied my paracord slightly different, but still and as always (since I discovered your channel) your video was very helpful! thanks

    The handle on the bag would be better on the radio lol - great video i will have a go at the rope , your video really showed me how eventually lol - Many Thanks the side handles look Brill.

    That metal cap wasn't a dust cap, it's a shorting cap. It has a center pin. I've been looking at this item for my radio, Thanks for the Review!

    Can you please give the model Bovke case you were using please? There are several models and similar. One for GPS, Hard drive or night vision? Thanks

    You mentioned getting a different mic cable, is it not just a standard cat 6 cable? Could pick up a cat6 flat cable for it.

      Its sitting here waiting for a test/video. I do believe any straight through cable would work. Be on the lookout for a new video.

    With cobra weave one strand always stays over, the other always stays under. They cross from side to side but never from top to bottom.

    Very nice rails! I wish they made them for the X5105. I wonder if these would fit?

      These rails won't fit on the 5105, but the concept can still be applied. I'm surprised there aren't any available, maybe the flat buttons make people think its not needed?

      I thought it would be fun to leave the "struggle" in and might help some people. Glad you liked it. This is a fun radio to have. Did you see that we've got Linux running on the radio and can do JS8Call with just radio, antenna, keyboard and mouse?

      I agree, but that's about the price of all commercially available rails.

      @@temporarilyoffline True. What's currently on fleabay doesn't even come with anything other than the two rails. The reason I'm going to buy is because you've confirmed for me that they are actual metal and not 3D print brittle junk, so thanks for that. As always, great video.

      My kit from ebay said it would be rails only and so far 2 of us have received the full kit. If you don't get the paracord, it takes about 104" to get it done.

      Any of the cell phone screen protectors would work, just have to measure and cut. Look for anti-gkare to cut down on the reflection. I'm looking for one and when I find it. I'll post a video. The first layer of the screen is removable. ua-cam.com/video/kNBPWw42Z3U/v-deo.html
