Hey there mate , quick one for ya 👍 If I was to run the Anderson off the main battery and connect in my in-tub dual battery to one of the Andersons on the panel , would that be an issue ?
Hello! Could you make a video about the 12 pin trailer connector on the new ranger? Could I charge the battery of the rolling box with that connector? Thank you so much
Cause that was a pain until I realised lol oh and I suggest to anyone looking at doing it to do it before you get the long range fuel tank, UVP, bullbar etc. Basically any after market mods. Was not fun....
@@robbo4687 Hi robbo, the long range tank might have made it difficult but we don't actually remove the Anderson to run that cable that footage is actually taken from the running of our accessory harness. well spotted that the plug was off😜. Normally we run it with the plug on though.
Yer absolutely mate. There is a main midi fuse on the battery lead to the panel and 2x inline fuses in the back of the panel. You can see all the spec here www.aussiedriftertouring.com.au/shop/accessory-panel-nextgen-ranger
This is the best, most thorough video for this install. Thank you very much mate
No worries mate, glad it was helpful

That would be fine mate so long as the dual battery was just a 25amp charger it would work perfect.
Do the xl next gen have the plugs for the front spot lights ?
Any chance you guys are doing something similar for the Everest?
We don't have any plans at the moment sorry mate

Hey mate not sure what you mean by a rolling box sorry
Good video but skipped the removing of the Anderson plug when running the cable to the back

What about an option for rear seat mounted second battery?
We do have this charger kit to suit that setup www.aussiedriftertouring.com.au/shop/ford-ranger-incab-kit
@@AussieDrifterTouring legend thanks mate top videos too. Love to see a dual battery setup in the back seat rather than under bonnet
Can i use those anderson plug to charge the dual battery?
You could plug a battery box into it with up to a 25amp dcdc charger
@@AussieDrifterTouring how about a trickle charger?
@@dj010024 yer anything upto 25amps
Would have been better if there was a lid or a cover to keep the sockets free from dust, debris, and moisture when you aren’t using them.
Fused?
