Such a lovely video. I'm only half way through so far but seeing the baby clothes and Dom dancing with the cat was so adorable! The room looks fantastic.I love that you do all your own projects.

I agree with Rory. Those pom pom decorations make me very very nervous re choking hazard.
It’s such a beautiful nursery space. I don’t have children and have never really been interested as I have my pets but for some reason I’m enjoying watching you. I love the little lion wall hanging and the bunting oh and the Pom Poms. I would pretty much have those now! I am 46 ! Haha.

When the toddler is throwing things you may find plastic is the perfect material for toddler toys.
Once the little one gets bigger and if you're still in that house don't forget to anchor furniture to the walls. Always important with little ones 😊

Reminds me when I was heavily pregnant with my second baby and wallpapering and painting the nursery. I loved doing it all - and getting it finished was wonderful
Takes me back to when we made our guestroom into a nursery. My twin girls are 20 months now, takes me back..
I got so much clothes from amazing people. I decluttered the clothes after seeing what they wore the most, there were items neither me and my husband didn't grab for. Now we have enough clothes stored for if there will be ever a 3rd baby.
I really love the nursery, we also got much stuff second hand or from friends and friends from friends❤

That's such a cute nursery!! I love the overall neutral tones with the pops of bright color. I think it's the perfect space for a little one- engaging without being overstimulating.

I too love vinted. I have reinvented my wardrobe completely. I found pure cotton and linen tops, pants, dresses. Some cardigans and pajamas too. You can't beat the prices. Even shoes for $5.00. Tops and pants for $2.00. Your right, I cannot go back to paying retail for new.. Love the nursery Kay. You and Dom did a beautiful job.

Hi Kay, what a lovely video, little man's nursery looks great, you have both done a good job there, love green, really good that most of it is second hand and all the baby clothes off your very generous friend, my daughter in law buys a lot of her own and our grandchildrens girl three and a boy one their wooden toys and clothes off vinted, early doors children hardly have any wear out of toys so a great idea and then when no longer needed just sells them on or passes them on to family or friends, you are looking well, take care xx

I remember being really excited for my first born, that was nearly 28 years ago. Getting all the baby stuff that you need and preparing for the arrival of your little one is so exciting, this video brought it all back for me 😁❤

Looks lovely, the colours are so pretty. I love second hand. With grandchild and pets it makes sense. We got a sofa from Facebook market place I spent an afternoon cleaning it only for my dog to pee on it and the next day granddaughter's nappy leaked 😢. It is still nicer than my old one that the cat had ruined. 25 years ago I found a small chest of drawers in a junk shop for £5 it has been painted so many times and used in so many different places, I love it. I love you trying the cloth nappies they are so much better these days. I loved your reaction to opening the box it took me back to when I was given things.

Wow what a beautiful room! 😍 that green is EXACTLY what I am looking for for my bathroom. What is the name and brand of the shade? For my first child I didn’t have the nursery set up really when he arrived. This time around, I’m TTC and already preparing haha! It makes things much easier to make the room in advance. The only thing I am changing this time is adding the guest bed to the nursery room. It’s the BEST for breastfeeding 🤱 at night and taking care of the baby while letting your husband get good sleep for work. Having the crib in our main bedroom was giving us all terrible quality sleep. Next time I will sleep in the nursery from the start!

His nursery is SO beautiful 😍 Made me so excited for our loft conversion to be done & to start work on the kids’ room 🥰 and I loved the secondhand haul. The Close pop ins 😭 For wipes I’d really recommend poppets over cheeky wipes, they’re so much softer & wash so much better (they fit in the cheeky boxes!)
Also, a nappy caddy is probably my most used baby item & is still in use every single day even with D being nearly 21 months 😂

I've never used vinted before but i'm definitely going to look on there. My kids have so many wooden toys lol i love them and they last forever! Plus when they out grow them you can re sell them.

You will find that wooden toys especially the Grimms rainbow products will be some of your very best toys Kay .My grandchildren are now 4 and 6 and they still play with all there wooden toys constantly despite having all the plastic fashionable stuff .The nursery looks beautiful 😍

As you were putting those pom-poms up I was thinking, you’ve got cats, they won’t last five minutes😄. I’m surprised they’ve not been after the bunting. One of my cats destroyed a small clock - obviously took exception to it on the wall 😆.
Mind you, the cats’ll perhaps remove them before your baby gets mobile and removes them instead
