Labour MP humiliates herself in Commons clash with Suella Braverman on Rwanda Bill

- Suella Braverman has "schooled" Labour MP Stella Creasy in a Commons clash over Rishi Sunak's Rwanda Bill. The Prime Minister saw the Safety of Rwanda Bill pass its third reading in the House of Commons by a majority of 44 on Wednesday (January 17).
Ahead of the vote, Mrs Braverman reminded the House of the Tories' 2019 manifesto pledge to stop the boats, saying: "We made a promise."
The former Home Secretary then gave way to Ms Creasy, who said: "I know she feels this passionately, I just wonder if she could clarify - because she's got a concern there about a foreign court - what does she think NATO is?"
Members of Parliament could be heard laughing before Mrs Braverman told the MP for Walthamstow: "NATO is not a court. I'm slightly embarrassed that I have to make that clear to the Honourable Lady, that's really elementary politics."
Ms Creasy could be seen nodding her head vigorously with her hands outstretched as Mrs Braverman continued, claiming: "We are being governed by a foreign court and judges who do not have our interests at heart."

apart from the royal navy told the government to F-off as what the government want them to do will break laws. The Royal Navy will never break laws.

apparently we cant send in the navy due to some maritime law being invlolved, dont forget at its closest point we control half the channel and the french the other half and we cant cross into their side to stop the boats and when they cross to ours we cant send them back (dont quote me on this i just got in from work) and we cant stop the baots by other means as it voilates paracy laws(apparently) and before you have a go i completely agree with you just wish we could do it
Who instructed the Royal Navy to take on the Kriegsmarine at the start of world war two? And there is your answer, they may not like the idea , if they are instructed to protect us from invasion which it is in effect, then that is what they have to do.

I have never voted labour in my life and have no intention of ever doing so, but I am worried that the Conservatives are not putting up a big enough fight as far as these Illegal migrants are concerned, too much money is being spent on them and not enough on the things that the voting population of the country. It scares me rigid that’s starmer and his loud mouthed number 2 will be voted in. Sunak needs to be tougher, he needs to sort out the dissenters in his party (who need to realise that the majority of people don’t want our money going to illegals) starmer will turn to whichever direction will get him the most votes.
He’s an untrustworthy liar and I for one fear for the future with the two main parties.

So I ask what wrong with people coming over if there are lot of jobs free?

I visited my city centre today (Hull, East Yorkshire). Two English lads, one old, one young were sat on the floor asking passers by if they could spare any change. Further on I passed two young Africans both dressed in hi-end sports clothes and trainers. Strangely, the cold didn't seem to bother them.
