arriving in Bangkok May 30th for the 4th time, been rewatching your food videos to explore for the first time (ari/sanyam/banthat thong/nang linchi st 5/e-sarn) so far, I can't eat spicy food because my stomach can't handle it, so hopefully I'm able to find foods I can eat in those areas. thank you for your videos

Hello, I love your information on this video I will be arriving in Bangkok with my teenage sons and 3 suitcases. We will be staying in Soi Sukhumvit 49 the Quartier Boutique Hotel. It seems the hotel is in the center of Sukhumvit Rd which is not closed by either BTS or MRT. This hotel is located on a narrow street ( I looked on Google Maps). I would love to have my son take a railway in Bangkok and it seems very affordable instead of taking a taxi. Could you please suggest how and what train line should we take to this hotel? Kob-Khun-ka.
Oh, that is a little bit difficult. May be the easiest option is taking the Airport Rail Link (ARL) to Phiya Thai and then the BTS Sukhumvit Line to Phrom Phong.
From there a taxi or walking, but walking in that area is not too funny, as many of the streets have no pavements.
If you are more adventorous, then take the ARL to Ramkhamhaeng and take the Khlong Saen Saep boat from there to Ithalthai. Walking from there, but with luggage better taxi.
Honestly I would not recommend to stay in that area as you will have to rely on taxis or Bolts often. But at least you are not too far from the nice and good Beirut restaurant.
Better stay in areas close to MRT or BTS.
