Could not have gone any better, Matt 😃 All the bracing has paid off, I do agree with DP to put an extra brace in the doorway, at the very least it would have stopped them all escaping 😂😂😂 Dustin pulled himself together to get through the last few pieces, pleased he was able to stay along with your Dad for the day 💪😁 Setting the string line offset from the wall works well, now I know how it is done, it makes more sense. And the ease of adjusting the braces is a timesaver !! Time lapse of pumping was good, ideal place for the camera on the boom 😎👍
That went really well. It was nice seeing DP stop by, I knew you'd asked him to do a quick preinspection and I knew Aaron wouldn't miss it either. Mike was so funny. "No seriously, I hear the concrete truck. I gotta go!" This is a great build.
You just knew DP would find something…lmao! 😂 Glad the pour went so well. Can’t wait to see everything all cleaned up, and on to the next step(s). Thanks for sharing Matt!
One step at a time and the Castle/Lighthouse exstension is getting closer to it's occuppency inspection. Good of DP and Arron to show up and put in their 2 cents. That extra door frame bracing was definitely good advice. I myself was wondering about it. Matt, can't wait to see the next episode of the Castle/Lighthouse build project.
Excellent testimonial to what a proper set up does for a project, “NO BLOW OUTS”, plumb and square, can’t get any better than that sir, thanks to you and your helpers for the video.
Great video Matt, Mike has a lot of experience with ICF and it's good you had him and Aaron over. You're right about the pump truck operator as he seemed very experienced and patient as well. Talk about good friends, Dustin shows up just when you needed a someone you trust to help. It looks good Matt.
Congratulations Matt! Your concrete pour went perfectly - thanks to your excellent preparation. Kudos to your parents for their help. Everything stayed plumb and square and there were no concrete leaks at any of your "areas of concern". Awesome to have Dustin there to guide the concrete pipe to pour the concrete where it needed to go. Thanks for sharing - look forward to seeing the next stage of construction. 😀
When I was younger and could help friends with projects, towards the end the host would state; "Thank-you my friends, your services are invaluable." and the traditional response from one of the helpers was; "Ah, so we're not getting paid for this either?" ;-)
It was nice to see DP & MBS, plus it was good to see you at the save the house job also. The Castle is coming along nicely although you still have a lot of work still to go, but it’s great to see the progress.
DP and MBTS dropping in for shenanigans and comedy! Never a dull moment. All we need is Captain Kleeman and Jerry to put their two cents in for a standing ovation! Poor Dustin. He can't have too many friends. I don't think he realizes how many viewers are friends. If you really think about it, we "ensure" he has too many friends! Glad to see this pour went well. Been awhile since I have seen an ICF poor like this with that above view! Next step, putting in the sub floor!
Job well done guy's! Poor Dustin, his search for better friends continues.....lol. That pour looked way to easy but even with no concrete experience myself I was watching as you were right on top of it. Nice of DP and MBTS to stop by, I thought you did well on the Inspection, Good Job. Keep up the good work Matt your doing great.
my mind and my good thoughts were with you on that pour. we have all seen things despite the very best of preparations. congrats. i wish that job was mine'. how 'bout that dustin? he can be gracious and cool at the same time. he knows when to arrive and when to leave. the hallmark of a true friend. best wishes.
👍👍👍💙💛❤MATT, imi pare bine ca toata lumea te sprijina cel putin spiritual in constructia aditionala castelului. Un video reusit si ma bucur ca ai finalizat inca un punct foarte important .👍
How long was that screw you put in a 4:10 or so? Does that mean there is a nice sharp point sticking down from the bottom of that block? Oh yeah it does and can be seen at 4:30 or so...beware the sharp pointy bits sticking out, I have learned that the hard and painful way, far too often. I love the detailed explanations you always give. :)
Did you need to vibrate the pour? If not why? Remember please I’m the overnight field tech who only gets to watch. I’m learning a lot from you. Thanks and hi from Texas
Good job fellas, i was hoping to have a better view of the mix, but at any rate it looks like everything went well. I have never poured on Styrofoam forms before so my question for you is, is it typical to pour without vibrating? I do know that stingers do create a lot of pressure if you hold them to long, im just wondering if the forms would hold up to gently stinging between lifts. Thanks for sharing MM.
if you slow down the video at around the 20:20 mark you will see both Matt and Duncan using a hand held vibrating tool against the inside styrofoam wall to settle it.
That wall looked like it might have been about .50 thousands of an inch off😅 just kidding looked outstanding glad it's working out for you and thanks for sharing
One day (don't hold your breath though!!) DP and Small Man will stay and actually HELP you. Don't fall off your chair laughing either Matty. hahahaha The pour went well and you only had small adjustments to do after the pour; well done mate. :)
Great job. My first thought when you put those braces up was that those walkboards seemed pretty close to the wall, but since I wasn't the one walking on them, I let it go.
I was just typing to reinforce that door lower than Mike showed up😮😮 1' 3' 5' than every two for from there concert like water has a need to find the weak spot and push 30 yrs of experience here, nya
Nice pour Matt and team! SuperForm actually passed the 12' pour! Amazing
Agreed! Thank you
Could not have gone any better, Matt 😃

Awesome thank you!
Has anyone ever said how your dad resembles Tommy Silva of This Old House. We as a family are really enjoying this build! Thanks for sharing!
First time hearing that! Awesome!!!
Yes! This part of the mission is complete. Thanks for sharing the complete process. West coast needs more ICF used.
I agree! Thanks
That went really well. It was nice seeing DP stop by, I knew you'd asked him to do a quick preinspection and I knew Aaron wouldn't miss it either. Mike was so funny. "No seriously, I hear the concrete truck. I gotta go!" This is a great build.
Exactly 😂🤣
Nice to have help. Thank you and have a great week.
Thanks, you too!
You just knew DP would find something…lmao! 😂 Glad the pour went so well. Can’t wait to see everything all cleaned up, and on to the next step(s). Thanks for sharing Matt!

All that sweat paid off in no leaks or blow outs!! Thanks to all your helpers and last minute inspectors for a successful pour!!👍🇺🇸
You got that right!
Those extensions worked awsome !
Yes they did!
You're hired!
😂🤣
DP and MBTS just couldn’t resist, could they! Nice job NYAM!
Exactly thank you
Nice to see all the visitors and crew, brilliant job Matt.

Thank you too!
Satisfying view, satisfying pour ! Even the long time concrete guys are coming around to the MST. Dustin was hilarious !
Glad you enjoyed it. Yes they are! Yes he was
A great addition 🎉🎉
Thank you
Grew up in a home with 12' high walls - this will be a great space. Pour went well and the plan - all secure with DP approval.
I agree! Thank you

Looks like it all went well bro and great to see Dustin back to help, he's sure not frightened to step up and get it done. Safe travels. Ken.
Agreed! Thanks

Great wall system Matt sure looks simple to use, with very little waste.
It really is!
Great job great video thanks Matt and Dustin and Dad and Mike and Aron
Glad you enjoyed it
I didn’t see a vibrator either. An absolute must on high pours.
Yeah I never understood why these guys don't vibrate their concrete. Unless your using a super plasticizer admixture then your asking for voids
Vibrated the whole pour
You did good! Really nice Matt.
Thanks!
Congratulations on a successful pour. 🎉❤
Thank you so much!
Amazing!! 🏚 You go Mr. M!!
Thank you u
Looks great.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks 👍

Planning and preparation pays of with a very successful pour. Congratulations guys.
Thank yiu
Great job Matt
Thank you
Awesome, looking good 👍🏻
Thanks 👍
The 5 inch wood blocks and string inside the ICF corners are superior ❤
now that went smoothly....great job by all so well done
Thank you kindly!
Good morning Matt & dad & Dustin
Hey hey
Don't you need a vibrator to make sure the concrete gets all the way down?
No blow outs or anything bad WELL DONE GREAT work. 😊 👍
Thanks 👍
DP and MBTS cleared out when the going LOOKED like it was going to get tough .... BUT then that looked just TOO EASY!
They sure did! 😂
Glad things went well, wish I could have been there for the second pour, nice of DP to stop and double check things out.
Thank you!
👍👍👍💙💛❤MATT, imi pare bine ca toata lumea te sprijina cel putin spiritual in constructia aditionala castelului. Un video reusit si ma bucur ca ai finalizat inca un punct foarte important .👍

That went flawless sir. Good job 👍
Thank you kindly!
Good job!
Thanks!
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK
😎😎
Good job Matt and guys
Thanks
I didnt see a vibrator if there is a void you will not see it. The mix looked wet enough to flow. Does ICF have recommendations on this.
We did vibrate!
It looks great
Thanks

I did vibrate the entire pour. Used a wall vibrator not a penetrator
Dang Matt y’all made that look easy. I’m pretty sure it was a heck of lot of work though. Great job guys.
Yes it was

It’s the next floor that I am waiting for….curious to see what happens.
ICF baby
Good morning matt an dad u got a lovely view their
Hey hey
Nice Vid!
Thanks
That wall looked like it might have been about .50 thousands of an inch off😅 just kidding looked outstanding glad it's working out for you and thanks for sharing
Close!😂😂
Why no porthole window in the stairwell? Safety if the lights go out.
No need
One day (don't hold your breath though!!) DP and Small Man will stay and actually HELP you. Don't fall off your chair laughing either Matty. hahahaha
The pour went well and you only had small adjustments to do after the pour; well done mate. :)
Helping Capt with the YT yatch emptied DP's reserves 😅
Well said!😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂
Curious. I did not see a concrete vibrator in the time lapse. Did I miss it?
Vibrated the whole pour
Nice!!!!
Thanks!
Great job. My first thought when you put those braces up was that those walkboards seemed pretty close to the wall, but since I wasn't the one walking on them, I let it go.
Yeah I'm guilty of that too. I was meaning to suggest he put two wide instead of one.
I know right
Thanks
A lot of work to do😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊 1:11
For sure
when you have a great team, you could not ask for anything better. Congrats on the pour.
You got that right!
You forgot to mention Dirt, and that's why they bugged out. All coming together nicely 👌
Thank you
It went very well
Agreed
Why didn't you vibrate the walls so you know there are not small air pockets, and pour the wall flush with the top? where you will bolt the plate?
I did vibrate the entire pour. Going up more ICF
You're going to trim off the top few inches of foam after it sets?
Never mind. Just realized you have another story to go.
No
Lol NP
Very good 👍 👏
Thank you very much
Did you tape the top edge of the wall
Yup
Congrats
Thanks
I know you must have had to use a vibrator to " Insure" the concrete went all the way but you didn't show that. I'm curious as to why.
If I had a bigger crew I would have. We vibrated the whole pour
Thats what i thought too, about the bottom of the door! Great minds think alike
Thanks
What is this building used for
Construction right now lol
Watching your videos in the mornings make my day when there is 80 proof near.i can insure that
😂😂 you are welcome
Hi from Adelaide Australia you have done a great job on the wall 🧱 can't wait until you have finished building the room
Thanks so much! 😊
😊😊😊😊😊
😎😎
I was just typing to reinforce that door lower than Mike showed up😮😮 1' 3' 5' than every two for from there concert like water has a need to find the weak spot and push 30 yrs of experience here, nya

Good deal !
Nice job so far... bur filming wise, maybe put the camera on the surface of the moon next time...😂
I will try. Will text Neil 😂😂
