    Speechless. You ever find something you didn't even know you were missing? 'Cause that's what this poem was for me.

    You don't understand the level this shit hit me at. My father also was deported, leaving my mother to raise us both. However, because of my mother's hard work she got diagnosed with cancer and this March will be three years since since she left us and fuck this shit. I won't be another statistic. I'll fucking achieve all my dreams and this government will regret ever fucking up my childhood like they did. I applaud her so much because I know the kind of pain she is experiencing and she said it more eloquently than I could ever dream of.

    As a Mexican immigrant with undocumented parents, this kind of shit still keeps me up at night. Even tho they've never been deported. And yet i never thought it is still somehow easier for us cause we're right next door. I can't imagine how much harder it'd be for them

    So potent. So powerful. Hard to comprehend the logic behind this action from the immigration department. Bigger problems than a hard working family trying to get by. I wonder if they ever stop and just say why?

    • @rickylawser9514
      @rickylawser9514 4 роки тому +3

      we do stop and just say, "why"? she is right ; statistics. Immigration is a job that cannot be done with your heart. It's always the bystanders that suffer the most.

    I cry of your separation determination mother's love strength... Your Father. Non-Negating. The country that gave your father the chance to dream this, in the home of the brave still exist the people who died, tried so much of what was wrong is still. so much always to be changed, so many works through the chains, of ignorance bonded to fear, for who can deny the love of a father that existed before any boundary or border, countries where people can't drink the... really isn't the point... are we working within what is currently standing? or knocking it down- creating something new... not America. Not America?
