Now ya know why Clippers went all in for the Beard. Kawhi missing playoff again. Playoff P is clutch 4th quarter. Russ intensity as usual plus the clips also having excellent coaching in Lue. Don't forget the strong bench play . Clips are for real playoff time.

Playoff Harden... Remember Playoff Harden? Playoff Harden is a guy who'll give you a 40 point triple double in game one then shoot a combined 9 shots in game 2 and 3. Playoff Harden is as inconsistent as Kawhi's knees. If he can go in game 2 you roll him out there. Kidd is going to make adjustments. They made adjustments last game and got back into the game. I really like James but I have to admin that throughout his career we've seen that in the playoffs we never know when he's just going to decide not to show up.

We will see more games like yesterday's game by the Clippers. Here's why:
Normal Powell did not have a good game and was as close to a no show as one could be.
PG (My GOAT) was very average in offense, to Dallas credit, they played good D on him. PG will adjust, trust me. If not for the revs killing the momentum by giving Zu a tech and a flagrant. Remember, PG was starting to cook, he had scored the Clippers last 7 points .
This team has no Kawhi as well, with all the negatives I just mentioned and you factor in the positive that this team is loaded with playoff experience as a unit.
Yeah ok, keep disrespecting the Clippers and watch them take Dallas out and the Clippers will win this series in no more than 6 games.
Do not be surprised if the Clippers shock you all and win in 5. I will not be shocked knowing this team....

Huge credit to the Clippers for the way they showed up. They really came out to make a statement that they can sustain without Kawhi, at least for now. Hell of a performance by Harden, but we know how it usually goes from here with him. Maybe Ty Lue can help break the pattern. Zubac was sensational. Getting him involved early was a key point for them. The Mavs have no excuse for losing that game in that fashion at all. Their vaunted defense was non-existent, and they were bricking it from 3. Luka and Kyrie are not blameless, but they were left hanging. They did not come prepared, and they got punished for it. I still expect the Mavs to win this series, but the Clippers let them know that it won't be easy.

Dallas didn’t play full strength in 20 full days since they had the 5th seed locked up. They were super rusty. I think they grab game 2 and we will see what happens to the bench players when they get back home 😎

We need to start holding Luka to harsh standards, that team came anemic to play. They had so much hype going into the playoffs off beating low bracket teams. Mavs have to get this game 2. They had a great opportunity in game 1 and they’re getting another chance as Kawhi is reported to probably miss game 2. You have to steal one away game when you have the chance with Kawhi not playing because if he returns, there is a good chance you lose either game 3 or 4 at home too. And you cannot afford to go down 3-1 with 2 games in LA.
Luka does everything in the regular season, likes his ridiculous numbers, then acts shocked when his team is stagnant in the playoffs…we already know youre great…make your teammates better

Coach Ty had a better gameplan on offense but Dallas beat themselves in this game. Only lost by 12 and missed over 30 points of buckets which is rare for them. LA can't keep hoping for more bad luck if they want to win this series.
Not disregarding the fact that the Mavs obviously had a shooting slump, but the Clippers also didn't play their so called "perfect" game majority of Mavs fans viewed it as. PG13 8-20 is not good by his standards, Powell 2-6 and Coffey 2-7 were ineffective, both capable of scoring 15. Kawhi is destined to return if not game 2 then game 3 or 4. you also mention they "only" lost by 12? that's still double digits, considering the mentality of the Clippers shifted as they went up by nearly 30. Can't forget to introduce the fta differential, Mavs shooting 20 more fts (coincidentally most of them happening in the 2nd half) so really the scoreboard flattered the Mavs.
