- This short video shows the lifting of a 5 1/2" thick by 20' wide by 20' tall concrete panel that was cast on the building floor slab. "Pick points" are cast into the back of the panel to allow the crane rigging to attach to the panel. The panel installation crew helps to walk the panel in place, align the panel with adjacent panels, and anchor the panel braces to the concrete slab.
Good operator. It’s hard to plum a panel from outside. People don’t realize when you cable down to get weight on the shims a telescopic boom deflects back so your already headed in the wrong direction. Really have to keep up with the deflection. That operator did real good.
Great work. Were you the SE for the design of the panels? If so, what is the tallest you have designed 5-1/2" panels?
Good jobs gaes 👍👍
The number of guys standing in the dead zone of that lift 👎
Exactly... Unprofessional as fuck
Yup! No good! No safety guy or competent person. The foreman, super and even operator should know better!
Dang I was thinking same thing
@@gagerowden4564 in Australia if an incident where to occur causing death in similar scenario the foreman would face a hefty prison sentence. We require a competency to work with tilt up panels & if supervising tilt up there is a further accreditation required
what is the name of this wall system?
Tilt-Wall Panel. Or Cast In Place Panels.
Looks really nerve-wracking! You sure don't want to break a panel!
precast panel
Jeez? I thought that crane was gonna fall over like that other fat head video!
