GREAT informative video guys well done , lots of information not always the sort you want to see and hear . Thank goodness we are with TUI , well at the moment we are .
Thanks for the comment, really appreciate it. We regretted not calling P&O and asking if we could swap the flight to TUI. I hope the tips are useful for anyone who is going on that flight. I really hope P&O change charters next season. We’ve just about recovered 😂
The captions are impossible to read entirely before they go off screen. It is annoying to have to hit pause continually. Please slow down the pace if you make another video.
Thanks for the feedback, it’s tricky to strike a balance between keeping things short so people don’t get bored, fitting in all the relevant information we want to share, but we appreciate it sometimes making things too fast. Thanks for taking the time to comment, we shall slow the next one down 👍
@@cruisefraterpoultons Reading again what I wrote, it may seem rude. That was not my intention. All I wanted to do was to point out an annoyance. Thank you for making the video which was interesting and helpful.
Very interesting and informative - don’t think a fly cruise with P&O/Maleth is for us, hopefully P&O will find an alternative flight partner soon, the negative comments about Maleth will surely not be doing them any favours.
Thank you 👏 You are right they need to do something. However the in between bit (the cruise) was amazing and ARVIA decorated for Christmas was stunning 🤩 Hope you are having a lovely weekend.
That flight was a good one compared to most of their flights. Over Christmas and New Year the delays because of technical problems with the planes were anything up to 8 hours or more. Passengers on one flight from Antigua were taken to the airport at 2am and left there until the flight which was around 10am the next day. No food or drink because everything was closed overnight. Even this weekend the flight from Gatwick on 27th January was very late. The aircraft eventually took off ay 4pm with some very angry passengers who had been at the airport since 5am. I would not travel with this airline under any circumstances. Ripped seats, filthy toilets, strong smell of urine throughout the plane. One seat a lady was to sit in had a large stain on it and it smelly of urine. Would you sit in it for 9 hours? I think not. These planes were made for transporting cargo not passengers and it shows. 90% of the flights are at least running an hour late up to 10 hours late with the exception of the odd one that does run near enough on time. After reading all the comments on the P&O group pages they have lost a lot of custom because of this airline and many, including myself, are looking to other cruise lines for their cruises in the future.
Thanks Helen, yes we’ve seen those reports of the seriously delayed flights and what others have had to deal with. We are really thankful it wasn’t us. There a few websites that track punctuality of flights by airline and Maleth’s statistics make for some interesting reading.
Thank Simon. We spoke to couples on board who had flown with Tui from regional airports and wished we had asked P&O if we could change our flight. Hopefully they change carrier for the next Caribbean season.

The moment I heard P&O were using Maleth the writing was wall

Video goes to fast I cannot read that fast
I am sure very informative
Thanks Gavin, sorry it was too fast.
Sounds an awful flight. Hope we never have to travel with them
Thank goodness P&O have changed back to TUI - good decision
