This piece is deceptively challenging on trombone as it is a French art song which is very delicate with an extremely legato line. This performance was very well done.
Seems like everybody els I stumbled across this song for solo and ensemble, helps me keep time. Great playing btw, and I certainly appreciate the help it gives me
Thank you for this. Its given me some insight for how to play Après. I'm playing it as my solo for school and the way you played it really helped. This was a great performance.
Someone has to mention it - with a trombone, the other type of vibrato is with the slide. Watch old players from the past. It’s primarily in the wrist.
@@brucekuehn4031 that's more of a jazzy vibrato. both have their uses. I personally use Jaw vibrato for more classical music and the slide vibrato for jazz but both methods are great!

What tempo did you play this?
Amy, you make music through your trombone!
hermoso
How do you do those pretty waves while playing ? Its like someones singing, ive been trying to figure out what its called
Passion Winslow that’s called vibrato. You achieve it by moving lips. You can probably find a video about it. Try looking up jaw vibrato.
It’s called a vibrato

Hope all is going well with the playing.
play this at 1.5x speed for the "real" tempo but with such a good tone, slower is great!
