Amphoras Beach Sharm El Sheikh. What's it like?

Thinking of staying at Amphoras Beach Hadaba, Sharm El Sheikh? This 5 Star all inclusive hotel has its good point and bad points. As all inclusive hotels go in Sharm El Sheikh its not expensive. I choose this hotel because it has a good reef with lots of marine life and it did not disappoint. The beach and main pool with water slides was also an attraction as I have a 12 year old son
On the down side the drink selection was very limited, the Vodka was the worst I have eve drank and none of the main entertainment venues had bars. so you have to take your drinks from the bar. They only serve beer in small cups so this could mean lots of trips back and fourth to the bar.

I think you may find it a bit hot in early to mid September. late September October would be better as the temperature drops to the low 30s

hello, is there a section of the beach in the water with only sand or just a reef?

was the diving centre extra ? and if so do you know how much ?

The diving for qualified divers was US$35 per dive and included equipment hire. If you have never dived before they do Try Dives for around $20. The snorkelling off the end of the Pier was excellent.

Have you been to their sister hotels, blu and aqua? How do they compare to this one?
