Great teir list as always guys always enjoy sitting down and watching them. In regards to mighting impact hits I had it ruled for me last year at the GT in Warhammer world that you cannot might the hits same as trample
I had a freind run sharkeys rogues in a decent tourney, he won the tourney. Nobody could kill them fast enough and 2/3rds of the missions fell in his favor. The best match up was smaug in an objective mission. No chance of smaug winning there.
Ruffians might have garbage profiles, but underestimate them at your peril, especially when fielded by an expert player. When you’re staring down a carpet of 80+ models at 650pt with only 90 mins on the clock, there’s a lot of armies that just won’t be able to deal enough damage in time to pry them off objectives. As my Rohan found out 😢
at 700 you can take sharkey, sid, rowan and the two hobbit heroes. with 12 hobbit militia and 75 whip ruffians. 93 models, 6 might for moves, almost all with 4+ throwing weapons.(in legion) just zerg rush across th board, you will kill stuff. and a lot of armies are going to have trouble with killing you back enough to matter. need to kill 47 to break and still has sharkey's stand fast.
Khand have an added advantage that they’re so rare, a lot of players won’t have any experience in facing them. Especially since chariots are such a unique mechanic to the game, breaking a fundamental rule by being able to deal damage in the move phase. They can also cram a lot of dirt cheap F4 cavalry and bows into a list to have shockingly high numbers for an all cav army
@@DarkhorseOldWorlders They're a pain to maneuver, and if there's a monster to hurl them or some magic, it can be real bad news, the charioteer can be a HUGE liability
They're not at all busted, they're so easy to out maneuver even if you don't have magic or monsters, get inbetween a terrain piece and them and you're laughing. I do agree tho, being a rare army does definitely lead to more inexperience in your opponents. -Liam

It got a bit silly when a basic chariot killed 8 lads in a turn (and it happened a few times that game too lol). So with the foot boys, because the chariots and horsemen don't count towards bow limit, you can still take 1 third of the foot lads as bowmen. Also my understanding is that its considered pretty good to take plenty of foot lads basically just to bump up your break limit, you dont really need to engage with them they basically stand back while your chariots and horsemen charge in, i think they are a solid mid/high B.
They don't deserve D tier for sure, but I'm not sure I agree about taking plenty of foot guys, it's not that they're bad, sure they have low defense but f4 and can pierce to s4 for 8 pts isn't bad, and sure you could spam a lot of them, but 5 foot guys = 3 cav, and I'd rather have 3 cav usually.
They're just not something you include in lists, there's nothing wrong with them per say but I'm really almost never putting them in a list over cav or chariots -Liam
Honestly you're better off hording out with them, it's their biggest strength, might as well use it. As soon as you ally in anything you're heaps easier to break and as soon as ruffians break they'll absolutely melt -Liam
@@NoobsandMen you're close.. heroic channeling with Brorgir, cast enchanted blades on a king on chariot, heroic combat with the king, and now you're re-rolling failed wounds with a plus 1 also on the impacts... As stated during the fight phase 👌
I'm honestly not certain enchanted blades would actually effect impact hits, they're not mightable (as we've been frequently told in the comments here 😂) I don't think they count as a models 'to wound rolls' in that way -Liam
I wish ruffians was green allies with something, just so you could spam the OP Sharkey and worm model. I think it is one of the best casters in the game because its 4 2+ transfixesfor just 60 points is amazing! I say he is in S tier for sure
The one thing with Khand that i do not understand is why does the chariot has D7??? I can understand the 3wounds but why D7? There are two unarmord Horses in front. It just makes it stupid combined with the meele in the way. If you win, most meele attack go into the chariot but that think tanks everything. It should be D5

'We don't know what we're talking about, let's speculate wildly, but definitely you should all listen to our points of view after our admitting we don't know how this works...' uh... ok And no, you can't spend might on the impact hits. It's the sort of thing I'd expect from Sean, but Liam, I'm disappointed, I'll be honest. Sean's also wrong about the Chieftain "the only reason I'm taking the chieftain is if there's no other option" No no no, the king is awesome, but Liam's "3 kings and then I'm taking a chieftain" is also no, that's 120 extra points over chieftains, one definitely, two probably, but c'mon guys, you're really cutting into your numbers that way, you don't need the extra attack and another 6in banner over 3 more horsemen for 39 points. I know it's a bit of hyperbole, but 60 horsemen is 780 points alone, so that's 1105 minimum (no kings - 1200 w/ kings). You're looking at ~40 models for 80 points, since you need 4 heroes, as they're all 2 might and for all cav you need more to call those absolutely pivotal moves. The axemen are D-tier? Why? He's the base infantry profile, and he's f4 with an axe; definitely you'd take more horses if you can, but let's not crap on the poor axeman. I think you also need to take into account the limited profiles if you're playing a pure list, it requires you to sometimes get creative to juggle the warband slots/point limit, sometimes it's not terrible to just toss in a charioteer if you've got 30 points left and 1 warband slot. But yeah, he's a liability if there's any magic or monsters for sure. Finally, another point on king on horse vs. chariot, let's say you're going ~500pts and 1 chariot (say all horsemen), it's better for it to be on your 2nd hero not on your leader. A lot of the calculation when you're playing khand comes down to points/warband slots to dictate exactly how many chariots or when you swap a king for a chieftain, you've just got so few profiles it's tricky to get it to not have to be forced to tailor your list to fit the points to waste as few as possible. Worst. Tierlist. Ever. It wasn't *that* bad, but a couple things that weren't great. But hey, you got the view and engagement, so mission accomplished.

I play Khand for years now in germany and i agree with a lot of your points. The chieftains are very good and 40p cheaper than the King. 40p are 3 riders or 5 infantry. Thats pretty good. Also you can play like mongol cav and spam horse archers. That way you use like 1 or 2 kings and as other heroes captains. All on horse. Not the most playstyle but you can kite your opponent and force missplays which you can exploit for the W. Dschingis Khan would be proud.

Thats how I lost to them at a recent tournament, basically got gotcha'd, chariots are bull 💩
