Chinese characters were originally born in the Neolithic period, and some of the shapes are from the Paleolithic period, such as the word for arrows, the same as the stone arrowheads you make.

is there any chance i can purchase some nice black flint from you ? i dont mind paying a good bit for it ! i am looking for handaxe size or large biface size nodules , not flakes or spalls . i know that its a gamble whats inside the stone but i trust you can pull me a good piece out the pile .. i am in scotland and have no local flint sources suitable . reply to this and we can get the ball rolling if yir game
