I agree with Jimmy, as painful as it is. I've followed Bernie's work for close to 20 years and something was wrong in this campaign. I felt it and I couldn't see him as I always have. And after he withdrew, which was shocking -- I never got to vote, so WTF? Since he withdrew and endorsed Biden, whom I wouldn't vote for at gunpoint, he has seemed to be acting as if someone has taken Jane hostage.
The kind interpretation/theory I have is that Tom Perez and the DNC planned to force the primary to keep going and complain about Bernie non-stop and why he would "allow" this to happen (there was this article about how Tom Perez planned to penalize states in terms of delegates who planned to postpone their primaries). Of course, the media would go along with it. And so, faced with that, Bernie bowed out. Because he's kind.
The same way Jeremy Corbyn never attacked the people in his party who hated him. But we know how that turned out. And my theory is that something similar happened here.
Seriously, the next progressive to run in the Democratic primary absolutely has to treat both main-parties as the enemy.
I've begun to strongly suspect Jane is actually his CIA secret handler, she was given as THE reason Bernie was campaigning 'nice' & unchallengedly decent to Biden & on his record.

Information has it was that his campaign was run by more establishment centric people; it's the type of people that starts a superpac after they are finished working for Sanders. There was a lot of complaints from the "outsider", or more progressive leaning workers, that Sanders campaign would ignore grassroot movement to not have to deal with going against the establishment democrats so much. He kind of pulled a Hillary Clinton in which when he sought for new voters, he seem to forget the base of people that got him there in the first place; Hillary went for 2 "moderate republican" votes while 1 democratic votes.

I heard a poll was taken that the results indicated 100% of upper and middle class British Muslims believed homosexuality should be punishable by historic Islamic law. One thing I like about Jimmy is that he won't allow himself to rant and rave in a vacuum. He has some of the best independent journalists as guests on his show: Chris Hedges, Max Blumenthal, Abby Martin, Aaron Mate, Glenn Greenwald, Dylan Ratigan, etc. Jimmy is well-informed as a result, and that's what makes his tirades credible rather than empty rhetoric.

when a candidate with actual solutions was presented, Dore hammered him for not advocating a $35 minimum wage. Total bullshit. It's easy to dump on politicians for not supporting the people, they all do that. But Dore should have from the start been pro-Yang and Tulsi, and seen through Bernie like he pretended too after the fact. From what Dore says in this interview, he knew in 2015 that Bernie was incompetent based on the Nader question. For me, it was clear once Bernie became a Hillary Shill in 2016, and Bernie was a 3rd choice at best. I'm disappointed that Dore is only good in response to hopeless failure, not in support of the viable solutions. His very criticism of CNN applies to his own approach, the worse things are, the more energy he has.
