- Testing the waters again with Chuck Rainey's refined yet somehow a little sloppy line from Steely Dan's Black Cow. After hearing this tune about 1,000 times, I was a little surprised at what's actually going on in the bass department upon closer inspection. A very fun bass part to play.
Any requests for future videos?
Ahhh....Such a long wait between videos but so worth the wait! Another SD classic and (as usual) played spot on. And having fun as well. Thank you for another special treat! As we patiently await the next.... 😎👍🏻
Hi Rob, thank you for waiting! I always have fun playing music. This tune is close to my heart. You won't have to wait as long for the next one 😊

Nydelig :) Always a pleasure!
Takker! The pleasure's all mine!
The definition of groove ;)
Do you do any processing on the tone or is this just DI signal?
Thank you, Thomas. Avalon U5 DI box, a little bit of Logic's stock compressor and EQ to make it fit in the mix.
@@LarsErikDahle Thanks for the reply, would absolutely love to hear you playthrough Peg (as a request). Thanks for posting!
Härligt Lars-Erik!
Tusen takk, Olle!
beautiful fingering, but i would play the intro with gliss not hammer-ons
Thank you! I had to check, but I do play it with gliss. It would be more my style to use hammer-ons, though.
