This episode scared the hell out of me! That thing was scarier than any other villain in the franchise! The whole thing in the kids hands was so gross and made and makes me cringe.
I love when the virus knocked on the study door in the rhythm of “Shave and a haircut, two bits!” and then taunts him with “You can’t lock me out, Einstein!”. Great episode.
So, not going to lie after I got a bunch of virus on my computer for downloading a music off of limewire (which took all day). In my head, this is the 'guy' I imagined that was in my computer. Lol
Haha! This isn't one that I saw as a kid so I'm not sure how younger me would've reacted, but I definitely sound it silly as an adult. I mean, the makeup is good and I think the actor crushes it, but it just didn't work for me.
It would be so messed up. You know how hard egg is to get out of things? Once its in the nooks and crannies of a shoe, it's staying there. Might as well throw that shoe out...or fry it up with some bacon and hashbrowns.
@@ec6933 Haha! Hey, if I didn't have to juggle a real job I'd be pumping these videos out weekly, but I barely have time to put out the two videos a month that I currently do, with the occasional bonus video thrown in. I was surprised I managed 3 videos this month. Next month might be 3 as well if I can finish the Little Look-Backs video I've been slowly working on.
@@JackOfAllNerdsShow dude I just watch and am amazed at the time it must take to do ALL this- I LOVE when I see a new upload!!! It NEVER goes unliked or watched! IDK if it's worth reviewing but have you seen David the Gnome cartoon from about the same time on Nickelodeon? Probably could just make a video on those whole series but then you'd have to watch like all 30 episodes. It's a shame you probably don't live near central Ohio but if you are and need help with anything just say the word!
Thanks you reminded me - You hear that Elon Musk?! Stop screwing with people’s brains. Either way, great review! #TeamSimon I agree this episode could have been scary but is ultimately hilarious.
Hell yes! #TeamSimon Evan can go eff himself! I had zero sympathy for the character. Maybe if Simon was the only prankster and Evan finally had enough and reacted the way he did, but come on.
@@JackOfAllNerdsShow As difficult as it would be, I still would forgive Evan. I will say one thing that does irk me about Simon is that if he knew his friend had feelings for the same girl, why not be a true bro and let him try first. As a woman, when I was single, if I knew my bestie had feelings for the same guy, I would set my feelings aside and let her have her chance. If I lost, then in spite of the deep hurt, I’d be like “Better woman you are than I.” I even did the same when I met my husband, but he blessedly chose me. :) So it all worked out in the end. As for the villain, I don’t mind if it’s played by a short person - it actually kinda works… until that backwards slide… and then it’s.. creepy but funny and oddly adorable.
@@EmilyGloeggler7984 I agree with your assessment of the "bro code", but the way it is presented in the episode, it felt, to me, like Simon was already with Sonya. They way she and Simon talk throughout the episode made it seem like there was more of a relationship than him just snaking a date to the game from Evan. And if Evan never made his feelings about Sonya clear before Simon got involved then Evan would be in the wrong for trying to steal her from Simon. Not really enough information in the episode for us know for sure. I don't have a problem with a short person playing the villain either. In fact, I applauded his performance, I just thought the things they made him do were silly and that took away from his menace. I know they were going for a "crazy" vibe with the character, but it came across more silly than crazy. But that is also just my opinion.
Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. This episode actually feels more relevant today. With the talk of Neuralink and things like that, AYAOTD warned of its downside almost 30 years ago.
I remember always cringing when I saw the plug on the kid's hand. That was a surprisingly gross effect even for kid show standards.
Yeah, it's a really solid makeup, especially when its on the actor's hand.

Gary blames Tucker for the virus on his computer, but we all know he got it from watching a little to much porn.
Hahaha! With 90s internet?!

That image of the cable on the kids hand didn't leave my mind for years 😵💫
Same lol always wanted a sequel too

Haha! I'd like to imagine this guy is every computer virus ever.
Rule #2… FORGET rule #1!
It's funny I remember as a kid thinking it was kind of dumb when the monster turned around but now as an adult that dude is freaking creepy LOL

Twist is Simon is a Robot
Putting an egg in someone's shoe is hilarious! I never thought of it.

This episode creeped me out a virus taking over your brain it gave me nightmares for a little while
Great job as always!
Thank you! Hope you enjoyed your shoutout.
One of my favourite episode
Every time I anticipate Shia appearing somewhere so it shouldn’t get me. But it does every time.
Haha! I actually forgot to write in the script this time and had to adlib it in while filming.
Great video, bro. You know what I am saying? Heh heh heh.
Damn you skynet!!!!
simon is the first to test the video game?you could say its simon's quest.............i'll see myself out
Hahaha! Nice! You may stay. You're in good company here.
We need more AYAOTD!
