- In this video I demonstrate how to freeze dry a #10 can of cheese sauce. I then freeze dry it and also demonstrate reconstitution. It is an easy one so I hope you enjoy!

Thank you my friend
Another great video
God bless you ❤❤❤
Great Demo!! Thank you so much for doing the rehydration on it!!
Adding this to my list of things to!
I bet that will be great in scrambled eggs and making cheese bread!
Yummy sounds good!
Looks great. You are the best. Thank you
Thanks for sharing! I think I’ll try the white queso I get at Costco. Would be great to have it on the shelf instead of taking up space in the fridge. Keep the good ideas coming .
Thanks, queso sounds good!
I wonder if that would be really freaking good as a dry powder on popcorn? Going to have to try it.
Great job
It sure turned out good, thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
I shall be doing this, thanks for the idea!
Hope you like it!
What a different and interesting 🤔 thing to do. Don’t know how you came on my feed as most of mine subs are ASMR types like me. But this was cool. Thanks
Thank you, I must admit I had to google ASMR. Very interesting concept that requires more research on my part. Thanks!

Do you ever put moisture absorber packs in your storage jars/bags to catch any residual moisture that may be left in the product?
No never do. I don't even own any moisture absorbers
Thanks for the video. Can you tell us more about your vacuum sealer? I’m looking for something like that. I don’t want to use Amy FD to seal jars.
Here is a link to a video I made demonstrating this. The setup I use is kind of expensive and you could go cheaper but I like the large capacity and the glass lid vs the acrylic lid ua-cam.com/video/NETk-rOhhzI/v-deo.html
Thanks so much!
John, have you ever tried to freeze dry LAUGHING COW creamy spreadable cheese wedges?
I have not but I bet they would work fine. Wonder if i should do a video on that. I am always looking for new things to try.
John, you should plz! I use Laughing cow on bagels, toast, crackers, on pasta, in stuffing, on scrambled eggs, in omelets....ect. That's for your response and stay safe in the storm!
Could it be used for cheese in Mac and cheese?
I bet it would work great
Is that non dairy? Curious about the oil used in it and shelf life.
Thanks, John. How long would you store this?
That is the big question, As I removed it from the trays i did see an oily residue left on the silicone mat. The product however did not feel oily. I can not say how long it will store. I would think 5 years if packaged properly (the reason I added an extra O2) and would be very happy with 10 years but this is all just a guess

Thanks. I have been freeze drying whole milk without thinking about storage longevity. I am now freeze drying fat free milk ..... just in case. Also, your reconstituted cheese reminds me of the pudding I have reconstituted. It looked like tiny little bits hadn't fully absorbed the liquid. When I reconstitute pudding I let it sit in the fridge for a day after adding water then stir it up and it's beautifully smooth. I know that in SHTF that wouldn't be done, but for now I love the results. After all heck breaks loose I will love the little crunchy bits-o-pudding.
Yes, I agree. I let that sample mix I made in the video sit in the fridge for a day and it turned out very smooth (if not a little runny so I will adjust in future). For my purposes though I am looking for quick meals to reconstitute and eat so I will have to live with it LOL
the can lasts 5 years
