I just moved out of my house today, and it’s been one of the most harrowing, stressful, and emotionally exhausting days of my life. You uploading has single-handily made my day ten times better. So thank you, Rimea. Thank you.
I feel like we as a fandom forget how good the Warp Zone aesthetics are on the 3DS, both in this game and in _3D Land,_ so I’m glad you thought of that for the castle!
As a French player, I want to express my sincere thanks to Rimea and the entire team for creating Super Mario and the Crystal Crescents. The game provided an incredibly enjoyable and memorable experience, full of creativity and engaging challenges. I was truly impressed by the attention to detail, the innovative gameplay elements, and especially the amazing music, which perfectly complemented the adventure and made every moment even more exciting. It’s clear that a lot of passion and hard work went into developing this project. Congratulations to everyone involved for delivering such a fantastic and inspiring game!👏🏾
Thank you so much for making this! Its the first Mario Mod I ever played and I think it’s really great! Its a bit short but the level design is awesome!
I had no idea you could drop through tightropes just by waiting for a bit, until I saw you do it at 10:23. Was doing a difficult flutter jump to get under the rope area there, and got stuck on the very next section where there’s no way around the tightrope
I found that the easiest way to do 26:12 was to do a short hop before jumping over the poki so its going down when you jump also the landing will send it back up too which made it not too bad i only found this out bc i had to replay this section a few times lol really fun mod tho great work!
oh that's actually pretty clever, but I don't think Mario games should really have that type of trial and error gameplay where you figure out a trick after a few deaths
oh same, love me some Cuphead or Celeste where dying is just a part of the learning process, but since Mario games punish you for dying by losing a life, I think traditional Mario levels should be designed to be intuitive without dying
I wanted to make sure I actually played the mod before watching the playthrough, and it was really fun For whatever reason though I was slightly disappointed that the tower didn’t have a secret exit, though that was pretty much indicated by the world map. I suppose I’m too used to the base game Some other things like some of the gray mushrooms in the castle were a bit hard to predict, but overall it was really fun, nice mod
I like how you can make the beginning part of 1-1 in Mario constructbut not the entire level because the moving coins don't exist and more importantly the pinwheel platforms can't be rotated by touch, nor can be moved from its starting place.
Recently hacked my 2DS and downloaded this. This was so much fun! I recently ordered a New Nintendo 3DS (the one with "New" as part of the title) and a bigger SD Card and I want to see if I can try to make my own NSMB2 mods!
This is it, I think some people got the wrong impression from the mod's trailers because it features a large variety of level themes, but I never wanted to make a bigger NSMB2 mod
I haven't used Lime 3DS, but as far as I know it's very similar to Citra. There is a small installation guide included with the download, but if that's not enough, Google is your friend.
it's a hard balance to strike when editing, since making the music louder could in turn make what I talk about harder to follow of course like I also mention in the video, if you're interested in the music just check out the playlist linked in the description
probably, but it all depends on how active the rest of the modding community is, feels like there weren't as many mods in development this past year which is why we didn't do one

And in turn comments like yours make my day, thanks!
Thank you for making this mod. It was an amazing experience, had a blast playing it 🙌🏼
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!

Fascinating mod. It's good to see it's possible to modify the overworld as well.
NSMB2 has such a beautiful art style, it looks lots better than other nsmb games
It has been a while since I saw a mod for this game, cool!
Thank you so much for making this! Its the first Mario Mod I ever played and I think it’s really great! Its a bit short but the level design is awesome!
Thank you Rimea for making an amazing romhack! Keep up the outstanding work!!!!!!!!!
Love to see mario modding. You are fanstastic!
this mod was great!! very cool music, very cool levels, very cool custom model stuff too!!
You inspire me with your mods! I wish I can be like you, especially with your knowledge on Mario Wonder!
Just got my food ready then see that this video dropped, I guess this is what i'll be watching for the next 30 mins

Oh I had never considered that could be the case for some people!
This mod is very you and the other devs did a great job! The tower level reminds me of a Mario Maker red coin level
First mod I played of yours and I loved it
Man i wish i knew how to install mods like these, this looks so cool
That was so fun to play through.

@Rimea fair enough, personally i love this in games lmao

@@Rimea oh yeah lives I get that appreciate the response!
I like to see that I finally have another NSMB2 mod to play, looks great 👍
I wanted to make sure I actually played the mod before watching the playthrough, and it was really fun
For whatever reason though I was slightly disappointed that the tower didn’t have a secret exit, though that was pretty much indicated by the world map. I suppose I’m too used to the base game

Really nice mod!!!
Will you release the already created Luigi Lost Levels, as a Levelpack?
Thanks, and yeah I might release the levels I made for LLL as a level pack
This video's aspect ratio is something I only ever see for DS and 3DS footage. I don't think I've ever seen a "normal" video use this ratio.
you realise this is 3ds footage right?
@@Rimea Nice try, I know this is GBA footage. You can't fool me.
Peak playthrough
1-A gives Lost Kingdom vibes
Really nice
nice what the star coins got replaced
Good luck for having 1111 life as fast as possible
Id like to see this mod gets more worlds the concept of getting Darkmoons instead of star coins is cool
I like how you can make the beginning part of 1-1 in Mario constructbut not the entire level because the moving coins don't exist and more importantly the pinwheel platforms can't be rotated by touch, nor can be moved from its starting place.
If this was a real part of a Mario game and wasn’t a mod, I think it would be a perfect fit to be world 6 or 7 (maybe even world 3 but idk)
How can i play this mod?
Recently hacked my 2DS and downloaded this. This was so much fun! I recently ordered a New Nintendo 3DS (the one with "New" as part of the title) and a bigger SD Card and I want to see if I can try to make my own NSMB2 mods!
I love a more harder world than the original game
this ost banging
Will You Ever Do A Face Reval Rimea?
whats the next rom hack your working on after this one?
My Wonder mod, I might also still try to release the Luigi U levels I made last year
@@RimeaI would try mod my switch but I would probably get banned for doing lol
Will this just be a demo for a much bigger future mod, or are you completely done with it, like not gonna add anything else to it?
This is it, I think some people got the wrong impression from the mod's trailers because it features a large variety of level themes, but I never wanted to make a bigger NSMB2 mod
What system are you playing this game on by the way.
@@courtneymoyer1637 this is a mod of New Super Mario Bros. 2 for 3DS, though I recorded this using the Citra emulator on PC
Do you think you could make a QR code for the mod, so that we can download it directly to our 3ds?
Hello rimea is there a way or someone knows how to install this in lime 3ds I don’t know where it is to put it.
I haven't used Lime 3DS, but as far as I know it's very similar to Citra. There is a small installation guide included with the download, but if that's not enough, Google is your friend.
Will it work with nsmb2 gold edition?
yup
@Rimea I love your videos and being able to play a mod made by you is a dream come true
I can’t hear the level music in the video. And I’m trying to hear to it considering you talk about it a lot
Have to raise the volume to max in my headphones but then ur voice comes blasting through 😂
it's a hard balance to strike when editing, since making the music louder could in turn make what I talk about harder to follow
of course like I also mention in the video, if you're interested in the music just check out the playlist linked in the description
Gonna do that then, thx
Will there be another modding direct?
probably, but it all depends on how active the rest of the modding community is, feels like there weren't as many mods in development this past year which is why we didn't do one
How can i play this iOS or on my pc?
the Citra emulator, though it's officially been discontinued, so you might struggle finding a way to download it
Consider making your voice a bit quieter next time, I could barely hear the custom music even though I was almost at max volume
you should work on your own game one day. and maybe if u don't like the coding part just work with a coder and u do the level design and assets
Hi😊
Have you ever considered making a Friday Night Funkin' mod or an actual game?
🍔
