@@Our80sLife “sniff” I just feel sorry for the poor guy who opened the gym every morning to me pointing out problems with the equipment. Sorry I'm late watching this, plus I have to play catch up, LOL!!! But even though I saw some of these bands on your previous videos, this was so cool to see all of the concerts that you saw on this AWESOME CRUISE!!! Wish I could've been there!!!
Hey there Al, thanks for stopping by our channel. We got REALLY spoiled having such easy access to so many amazing shows in one week on The 80s Cruise. It truly was awesome! We hope you're doing well and have a great weekend. Rock on!!
I would have loved to go to all those concerts! What a great lineup. I have listened to Belinda Carlisle so much that she would be my preferred concert....you guys are so lucky you were able to see so many great bands. Amazing video, very highly quality and well-constructed.
We'll admit, we're totally spoiled now, ha! So glad you enjoyed our video. It can definitely be a challenge to capture (and narrow down) clips from each of the concerts. As always, thanks for watching and for your nice compliments. We appreciate you!
@@Our80sLife I think this series about the cruise is top notch. I am curious if the advertisers/marketers of the cruise have watched it... I have not seen any other series (your channel is the only 80's themed one that I watch), but I doubt anyone has presented the experience better than you have.
Here is one band that gets overlooked nowadays that hit it big in the mid-1980s.... The band Dead Or Alive.... Anyhow, Man, I wish that I had done music in the 1980s.... The 1980s was a great time to be alive!
@@Our80sLife It does look really fun. Almost all the concerts I have been to have been either of 90's bands or of classic rock, which definitely don't have the same sense of style.
Have you heard about the 80s themed cruises that Princess has been doing over the past couple of years? They have lots of 80s trivia, videos, and some tribute bands of the biggest performers of the era. I did one late in '21 that was lots of fun. Mostly they leave out of LA, but a couple have been from Ft. Lauderdale, and the next one is leaving from Galveston. I'm on this one. 😁
We hadn't heard of that one - sounds fun, but not nearly as crazy as this one, huh?! I gotta say, the tribute bands are usually great, but we LOVE seeing some of our favorite actual bands from the 80s, which is definitely the highlight of The 80s Cruise! See you soon - be sure to say hello if you spot us on the cruise!
@@Our80sLife I like the real bands too, but Princess gave the 80s thing a good try. I expect them to do the same in April. I'll try to look out for you onboard.
@11:26 That would win the contest on the next 80s Cruise...dressing as the couple from the video "Don't You Want Me"! It would have to be an elaborate display of costumes and theater to back it up.
Thanks Jake! We haven't attended the Sands, but we hope to go in the future! We have several friends who attend that one, but Keith doesn't get enough vacation time from work for us to do both (yet.)
There aren’t any tickets, you’ll just show your card to gain entry (blue cards for the early show, red for the late show.) You can just sit in any available seat, and there’s truly not a bad seat in the house. For shows in Studio B, it’s general admission and you can either sit in the upper levels on stand on the floor up front. You guys are going to have so much fun!
Thanks for sharing. I was on TEC with you last year. I attended 10 concerts there and curiously enough, I wasn't at ANY of the concerts you shared footage of. I was at the early concerts in the main theater and the alternate shows for some of the others. Are you going on this year's cruise? It's sailing in less than two weeks. I'm on it and impulsively I committed to being on next year's also.
Oh wow! Glad you got to see our footage, ha! It was our first 80s Cruise, and we couldn't believe how busy we were the entire time! It was a nearly impossible feat to see all of these concerts! Yes, we'll be on this year's cruise and also impulsively committed to next year, lol! We have a running joke with our daughter and her soon-to-be husband that we're taking them on The 80s Cruise with us for our senior year so they can watch us graduate and take pictures (kind of a joke, but wouldn't that be fun?!)
When I sailed on the Liberty of the Seas in the Summer of 2019, I saw a Broadway musical of Saturday Night Live! It was a great show! It reminded me a lot of the late 70’s to early-mid 80’s. Was there a cover of Paula Abdul? Since she was a big hit of the 80’s did you ever grow up listening to her?
That sounds like a cool show! Yes, I liked Paula Abdul in the late 80s and early 90s. I actually saw her in concert once. She's a talented lady and a great dancer! Thanks for stopping by our channel Bailey!
@@Our80sLife I agree! I’ve been really getting into her songs, (ie: Straight Up and Opposites Attract). I’ve actually been watching old seasons of American Idol with her, Simon and Randy! There’s nothing I love more than watching her and Simon butt heads with each other! 😂
Flock of Seagulls and ABC! Wow, was the it original band? If yes, I am glad they are still together after getting back in touch due to the VH1 show a few years ago.
I believe lead singer Mike Score is the only original member that's still performing with A Flock of Seagulls. Other members include Gord Deppe on guitars, Pando on bass, and Kevin Rankin on drums. As for ABC, it's also just the original lead singer, Martin Fry, who's been performing with the band since the beginning. Both bands were outstanding!

Yes, the concerts were definitely the highlight!
They were! I'm doing this year's version too.
Thanks for uploading the videos from your trip, i think we all here appreciate it very much.♥️

Us too!! We're gonna be sophomores next year, yay! Glad you've enjoyed our videos!
Wow, Night Ranger on the cruise. All original members and they still sell out stadiums and you got to see them on the cruise. What an absolute treat
