- Not the best location to film from but I was at a birthday party so I took the opportunity to film 5043 from the car park of the club near Wolverhampton North Jnc on Saturday Evening the 29th of April 2017. Enjoy the audio.

Cheers Trevor, she sounded stunning, thanks for the like. Regards...Bill
Yes that was different for you Bill but at least you caught it, I missed out altogether on this one. I trust you enjoyed the rest of your evening without further 'distraction' lol. Cheers, Brian.
Cheers Brian, it was my only opportunity to catch a glimpse of 5043, not the best location but at least I saw her. And there were no further distractions through the rest of the night. Regards...Bill
I'm still trying to learn the skill of telling apart GWR locomotive classes!
Former GWR passenger loco's are easy to recognise, they all have copper capped chimneys, brass safety valve covers and brass cabside number plates and nameplates and are usually painted in Brunswick Green. Hope this helps you for future identification purposes. Thanks for looking/commenting, cheers...Bill
Oh I didn't mean recognising them as being GWR, I meant telling apart the different GWR types, as in Castle vs King vs Hall and all that! Thanks all the same though :) I've subscribed!
The King Class was the largest of GWR passenger loco's, the Castle was slightly smaller, as was the Hall Class. Hope this helps, thanks for the sub, I have subbed back, cheers...Bill
Pretty good that :)
Cheers Gaz, thanks for looking/commenting. Regards...Bill
